The nostalgia is real. This map is really the same as the wc2 7th mission And opening of wc2. You cant complain anything with this team it was amazing!!!
Fun fact: Thoras Trollbane's father is also Liam. So his brother and father of Danath should be in fact Liam Trollbane jr. After the war, Stromgarde left the Alliance of Lordaeron because Thoras was for exterminating all orcs, even prisoners, an act which Terenas II did not agree with and caused the rift between good old king friends.
Something interesting: If you go to wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Utok_Scratcher to find out who the hell this Utok is, you will find "Utok's tour duty". This is almost exactly the mission list of this campaign.
This battle clearly isn't canon as Stromgarde's capital city never fell in the Second War. It's going to be hard to see the Alliance races get increasingly desperate and disillusioned as they lose more ground to the Horde which is why I'm looking forward to the Alliance campaign when it comes out. Anyhow, Thoras Trollbane escaping would explain why there was still Stromgarde forces in the Northlands after Stromgarde fell. His brother Liam sacrificing himself so his brother and the remaining people of Stromgarde could escape was a nice plot twist. Quick note, I'm annoyed how Warcraft II had Stromgarde's capital be on an island but in WoW, it isn't.
It was canon before the shitty novelizations of ToD/BTDP. In the original strategy lore Stromgarde, outer Quel'Thalas and Dalaran were greatly damaged by the war, which is why the Eye of Dalaran was created and used to rebuilt a lot of places at great speed between Tides of Darkness and Beyond the Dark Portal.
Videos have been great, maybe just lower music tiny bit during the campaign, in some scenes its overly loud even for voice acting parts so cant hear them haha. Great Videos tho
So out of curiosity, does completing secret chapter changes anything? Like, do you just not get dragons later if you won't do it or something? Edit: 54:20 Jesus that's a lot of catapults
If you are a completionist, explorer, achiever and minmaxer, then you would want to complete the secret chapters. Also, the secret chapters provide you with bits of story you haven't experienced yet.
Does anyone know where to get a version that is not buggy. The version I downloaded was really buggy with same issue that others have been having as I understand it

Hey honey, a new chapter for Warcraft Chronicles of the Second War had dropped.
Coming!
@@OutsiderXEThis comment was perfect. 😅
Those orcs on the boat singing kills me! ;-)
Nice mission! Really shows the size of the war! Also ... what a bloodbath!
Love the WC2 cinematic remake. Another really great mission!
... Okay, I did not expect the sudden reamake of the WC2 intro for the invasion fleet pproching stormguard, that was quite the unexpected gem.
Oh damn they actually remade the warcraft 2 trailer! This campaign keeps getting better and better!
I wonder where did you find those voice actors
They make a perfect Orc voice
The voice actors for the Orcs are some of the Campaign Devs that are aprat of the project.
23:12 Original intro WC2 Tides of Darkness
That scene was awesome
Nostalgia
we need an unread campaign after this - so good!
Great setup with Thoras still surviving.
I swear I couldn't target that lower gate to break through. Ended up destroying the city with zeppelins
Stromgarde knights seem gigachad to dual wield Hammer and spear.

1:44 that line from the Founding of Durotar's few optional quests regarding Thunder Ridge valley
47:13 Doomhammer : Utok! Maim! At my side at once!-
Maim down X..x
I didn't realize that the Port Tower is actually a Guard Tower from Warcraft 3....
23💯OH SHIT THE RECREATED THE CINEMATIC! I love these guys!
Going to be interesting seeing how they manage to have Stromgarge "Fall" but not fall that hard.
The Helm of Valor at the end :')
:( Not the only time a boss drops something cool and I got no chance to get it.
55:08 - If I get it right, Orgrim was trying to speak Human language here, wasn't he?
Yes, the idea is that humans and orcs actually speak separate languages.
@@OutsiderXE it's a nice implementation
I'm guessing so too. He and the other Orcs have no reason to speak Human language amongst themselves after all.
Something interesting: If you go to wowpedia.fandom.com/wiki/Utok_Scratcher to find out who the hell this Utok is, you will find "Utok's tour duty". This is almost exactly the mission list of this campaign.
The Elf you get to kill on Zul'jin's mission is also the equivalent of Utok but for the Alliance. Milan the Scribe.
Utok was the narrator for the Ultima guide for Warcraft 2 for the Orc Campaign, since this is remaking the Horde campaign.
I went to that link you described, but he has no photo when I checked it........
@@kennethaninon6913Thats normal. There was never an in-game model for Utok before CSW.
@@OutsiderXE ok, I understand now
Utok Prime Minister at once!
Main calling someone a "youngblood" is interesting, considering he himself was very young and growth-accelerated via Fel magic.
I think they should had used more catapults personally.
Can never have enough for those during a mighty siege.
There is always a next siege ;)
56:45 Welp there goes the helmet
Never knew Stromgard was Terran Dominion
23:07 **Goosebumps**

liam was not the father of thoras?

Ah yes, the dishonorable maximum catapult strat 😂
To be fair, did you see how many ballistas Stromgarde had?
When you siege you got to use catapults.
Cinematic and epic!
Liam Trollbane died to catapult attacks thrown at him a lot.
51:20 Try not to cry challenge
Man, my butt smells and I should wipe it to calm it down, but I don't wanna get up...
I thought Liam trollbane is the father to thoras trollbane
Videos have been great, maybe just lower music tiny bit during the campaign, in some scenes its overly loud even for voice acting parts so cant hear them haha. Great Videos tho
I will lower it, but for the next few chapters it will still be a bit loud as I have already recorded them.
23:10 Familiar of Warcraft 2 Tides of Darkness Intro???

the horde war MACHINE after all
I dont know yet. Would be strange without dragons. They were very important in WC2.
Helm of valor! Noooooo!
I am a bit sad the default ogre model's a 2head.

Really love it but when we can play as human side? Thank
In a year I hope
@@OutsiderXE owh yea nice ! cause really curious Human Side seeing Dwarf Elves
Will you be uploading any of the human/alliance campaign?
It doesnt exist yet. Supposed to come out in 1 year.
Nice !
Hey, can you play this mod if you dont own reforged and just have the old W3: the frozen throne?
As far as I understand it, no. Simply because you are required to use the Reforged HD graphics for the textures (possibly more too, not sure).
your backround music is so loud i cant hear what are they talking
so when do we get the human campaign...
Orc campaign took them 3.5 years. My uneducated guess: 2 years until the human campaign.
So glad that orgrim eventually embraced his russian accent in the end.
Its actually a jordanian accent ;)
Good to know!
Who the hell is Utok? I never hear of him not in W2 or W3 or WoW
He is mentioned only in Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness The Official Strategy Guide.
If I remember correctly he is the "Horde Commander" of the Warcraft II missions. Aka the player.
@@josynaemikohler6572 good connotation, hope that is exactly so
@@josynaemikohler6572 so now we know how look genius who spam Dragons and Ogres
