Not sure how I came across your channel but very cool to find a local biker friend. I’m hoping to get back on one after this winter. I had a CBR600RR. I would love to pickup a 675. They look so good and sound insane.
Did you get it dyno-tuned after the exhaust install to get back low rpm power? I have a Yoshimura Alpha-T/gutted cat/velocity stacks/DNA air filter with the Arrow Full exhaust + BMC filter base map. Seems to have lost a bit of punch/responsiveness from the stoplight compared to stock. Mid and top-end definitely feels stronger since the mods. I'm using my RapidBike EVO to adjust fueling at low throttle to try to account for the EXUP delete (the factory Arrow exhaust and map keeps the EXUP). Adding a little fuel (3%) from 1800-6000rpm seems to help, but it's not back to how it felt before. BTW, I test rode a 2008 before I decided on the 2015. The older Daytona felt a lot more aggressive. To me, the 2015 is a decently comfortable street bike...for a 600.
I just have a Duffboy racemap from TuneECU for now. Loss of low end is a result of your stacks - they can be setup to work with a correct tune to improve low end OR top end (think more air volume vs. more air velocity).
@@BlueDevilMoto Gotcha. I was just looking at TuneECU and saw that map on the website. Just got my DealerTool today. Might still get TuneECU, but functionality is a bit different/less for the 2013+ bikes I think. I went for the VenturiSystem velocity stacks since someone reviewed them and said it didn't affect their low end...but all bikes are different, ambient temp., elevation, blahblahblah. Maybe I should have splashed for the variable length stacks....but more complexity and the idea of 3d printed parts on my bike...🤮 I guess I'll keep playing with AFR in small increments for now. Thanks!
Actually, I just took a closer look at their published dyno chart for stock vs. VS stacks. You are correct, looks like there is chunk of torque missing right in the beginning compared to stock before it overtakes and outperforms OEM for the rest of the curve. Makes sense. The VS stacks are a little bit taller, but also significantly wider than the OEM stacks. I'll probably convert it back to stock and test from there. Thanks again. If you hadn't mentioned it, I would have kept chasing EXUP fueling.
Just to follow up...OEM stacks re-installed and reverted to unmodified full Arrow base map. My problem is fixed. More pleasant to ride as a street bike. More torque coming off idle. I guess I'll keep the VS stacks to swap in if I take it to the track...or if I want it to feel more like an R6. 😅

Hell yea man, winter is the best time to scoop one up! 🫶🏼
@@BlueDevilMoto yes sir. That’s the plan. 👍🏼😎
Coming from a third world country, owning a 125cc itself feels like a daytona xD
Your cool... I follow you

What year is this dude? Been looking at a 2010 and getting a plug in quickshifter but can't find any videos of how they sound 😂
2011, any 2nd gen will have a plug for the qs! I have a few older pure sound vids on my channel 💙
I have a 2011 675r standard with quick shifter sounds amazing gonna put an exhaust on it soon
@@BlueDevilMoto amazing thanks man, thought it might be the newer 2013 one as I thought I saw you blippin down with no clutch
