    I had been wanting to make a Prism tutorial for a long time, but was never able to get around to it because of time and production constraints. Many thanks to my friends at Cardistry Touch for giving me the impetus and opportunity to finally release this.

    Thanks for sharing Andrew. Yeah I’ve seen this done at cons and want to learn! It seems 1 would have to have bottomless patience for this move if your gonna move up in cardistry but I love it. My sides keep collapsing though but I’ll persevere.

    Is there anybody else who just literally cannot do this? I tried about 100 times but I could not stretch my fingers enough to make the prism, I couldn't figure out how to clip the extra packet while moving the middle finger so much, and I'm using the worst deck I own.

    • @PasteboardAnimation
      @PasteboardAnimation 6 років тому +1

      The ring finger should actually be doing most of the work, i.e. breaking off a pack and moving it up. The middle finger should only curl a bit to grip the triangle pack, once it's gripped, the top pack (previously clipped by the index and middle finger) is held in place the the index finger and the bottom of the triangle.

      Me hand is really small i cant do a thumb(even with 1/4 of the deck) so heres a tip: just grab about 2/3 of the deck in your right hand. And duplicate that triangle cut (you have to move around your packet to cut it like an l cut) and just put that lacket in your right hand and start spinning!

    How does one stack more tiers, beyond two?

    • @PasteboardAnimation
      @PasteboardAnimation 6 років тому +1

      Short answer is to initially break off a larger pack for the top of the formation, then keep breaking off smaller packs, form a new Prism, and stack. However if you're trying for more than two layers it gets tricky to allocate 52 cards between 9-13-17+ packs. Then there's also the problem of closing it...
