I've flown an 8X10' flag without a weight and it flew perfectly. Difference is, it required an in flight swoop to pick up and fly. My buddy that gave me the plans for the rig flies a 10X15' Flag!
10x15 must be massive. But I’m thinking with out the weight you’d be able to climb faster.
