Nicely done. I have yet to finish my one of this i started five years ago. the tracks build up really nice just have to have a bit of patience when building them as they are fiddly. not sure if you are aware there is a channel called The Bearded Veteran Creates; like you, he is a beneficiary of Models 4 Heroes, and most of his subscribers and participants of his live streams are veterans of the armed forces. Figure painting is a bug bear of a lot of modellers you have done a good job on them.✌👍
New subscriber here. I enjoyed watching this video and loved the king tiger and figures. The vehicle looks great and the figures are good enough and convincing for me. I’m not great at figures either but it’s the thought that counts. Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing more of your work. Thanks for sharing. Chris.
Thanks very much Chris. I have thrown you a sub too. This kit was gifted to me by Models for Heroes. I became a beneficiary last year. I served nearly 23 years in the RAF as an Armourer, from 31.10.78 to 09.01.02. A friend of mine who helps out with the charity, suggested I apply to be a beneficiary. This I did, and they sent me a box of kits and some paints etc. This is the 2nd kit out of that box that I have built. The other one was the Canadian C2 Mexas Tank with Mine Plough. Another Hobbyboss kit. I was also able to obtain a grant to get the 1.48 Tamiya Tomcat kit with tons of after market extras. But, I haven't started that one yet. I wanted to thin out some of the armour kits I have first lol. M4H is a great charity and modelling helps me with my Diabetes. I will be posting more reveal video's up soon. I have finished another kit recently. But haven't done a video yet. I wont reveal it here. But its a classic Tamiya 1970's kit and it has 5 figures lol. I only have my phone to do video's with. I don't have a suitable proper camera or an overhead mount etc. I am not doing it to make money out of UA-cam. Unless I suddenly get tons of subscribers eh. If you search Andrew Gledhill on Scalemates, I have loads of projects and photos on there. Cheers mate.
Thanks mate. All I can say if you have this kit is. Get some after market tracks, because the kit ones look like a right nightmare to build up. They would probably fall apart when you try to fit them around the wheels. I had to fit the 9 spoke drive sprockets to get the metal tracks I got to fit. Apart from that, its an OK kit to build. I used Tamiya white top glue to glue on the Zimmerit sheets. They fitted OK, apart from the curved part of the turret below the cupola. But they went on OK in the end. Oh and you only get 4 cross decals in the kit. So, its worth getting some more decals if you want numbers etc on your tank.

Thanks mate. I have subbed to the bearded veteran. I just couldn't face doing those kit tracks. Had to get the metal ones. They look great.
