If the names of the polyatomic ions ALEKS wants us to use are different from the ones we’re learning, how in the heck do we complete the homework? Just guess and hope they match?
I know you’re not the decision-maker here. Not your fault. Your videos have helped me immensely in figuring out what the site actually wants from me. It just seems like an impossible assignment, haha!

Ew, that’s unpleasant. I would suggest finding a table of polyatomic ions online and using those as you complete the assignment. I like this one: images.app.goo.gl/BVy1ZSAwSpLVSfzZA
And maybe (politely) let your instructor know that the names you were given were not the standard names used for polyatomics. Good luck!
