- It is not surprise that the first meal I HAD TO TRY was one of the famous Doner Kebabs... Let me tell you it was incredible! Anyways, I could have found the best one in Istanbul, but this evening I wanted to stroll the streets of Istanbul and stumble across a good spot. While I was searching for a place, I walked across the bridge and found some famous Turkish Ice cream before making my way to the doner kebab shop.

Every culture is unique in its own way. You love it most because you're obviously Turkish :) The whole world is amazing in its own way. Love for Turkey from the United States :) I REALLY want to try your food one day.

Mac, thank you for feeding the cat, God bless you. Turkey is awesome 😍used to live there 1991-1994 before moving to Canada.
That juice shop owner doesn't look like a local, like an extra, haha!
Turkish ice cream is really fun and the sky in Istanbul is so beautiful, thank you for taking us around Istanbul!👍😃🙌
this city looks way better than trashy New York shit city and crime infested Chicago where Mac coming from.
you have no idea
im from india🇮🇳, but i love turkey🇹🇷
75 TL for an ice cream. Thats total ripped off.
normally 5T
Hahah that’s true
70 Tl for the show
Tourists in Turkey get a lot of money when they buy something.
Lol, 75 liras for that ice-cream? Cheating by looking at camera, ma'maaan xD
I just love when men show their hearts on their sleeves 💛 that just made me tear up that you gave that cat some of your food thank you for being a kind man! I Get really sad when seeing all the animals in the streets all over the countries that you go to.
I live in California in San Francisco and I'm so happy that we have programs here that we don't have to deal with homeless animals unless people are homeless and they have their dogs with them a few times I've seen some cats with people and i still get sad.
So when i can i help out the best way i can.💖
Hello Elizabeth, actually the behaviour to stray animals in Istanbul is very differant from other cities. Dogs have chips in their ears so governmemt regularly vaccines them. All of the locals behave them as their own pets, and we all leave food, shelter, water for them. When they get sick, we take them to vets volunteerly. You should search about the strays in İstanbul, i belive you gonna like our integration with the animals 😊
Be careful bro, the price of this ice cream even in a tourist area is about 35 t l
Oh yumy I can say that doner kebab looks so delicious I could eat whole one right now.. I loved it... the sunset view over the bridge was mesmerizing...... I love how crowded city of Istanbul is.. full of life.. lots of shops & food stops.. I enjoyed everything...
Why don't you visit somewhere else? Your all the time in Eminönü since three days:) There are many places to see in Istanbul.Kuzguncuk,Çengelköy,Taksim,Sarıyer,Kadıköy,Üsküdar,Beşiktaş,Levent are my favorite neighborhoods that I can recommend to you..

Istanbul sunsets are magical 😍
That ice cream guy def. robbed you. Only go to places that has prices posted. Istanbul is a good place to get robbed on these things.
The ice cream was more expensive than the kebab 😂

Hahaha 9:15 guy first thought you said Russia (Rusya) then when you said United States he understood Greece (Yunanistan). It was very funny for me 😂 also happened at the donut (lokma) guy. Also you walked near at Karaköy Güllüoğlu shop. That is one of the most delicious Baklava stores in the world. You should definetly try that. Loves from Istanbul 😊
Lokma in Arabic mean a piece of meal
Tamaam in Arabic means Okay
Hadiya is Arabic means gift

Hi Mac, we are your new fans. We are Tibetan-Americans, originally from India. We enjoy travels, not just for the places you cover, but can't help noticing your good vib, respectful of other cultures and very kind. We would like to host you (we live in Chicago) when you are back here, without camera. I am sure, as widely traveled as you are, you are new to Tibetan Dishes.
Wow the food in Istanbul can almost taste it the way you describe it Mac machan. 😋 The streets of this beautiful city is unbelievable. During the day and night it's a different vibe. Love the hustle and bustle. Didn't realize how modern and yet traditional Istanbul is. The sun set and call to prayer in the background is mesmerizing. Wow hope I can visit one day 🙏 Great content machan ❤
Mac thanks for feeding the cat 👍🏻❤😊
That mega sized kebab looks very delicious ngl and it's freaking medium size, holy crap! I want some of those too
In the centre, takseem Square and along the bosphorus River you will always get tourist prices. Go to sultan met near Blue mosque and the prices drop and excellent markets there.
I rlly recommend u to try Kumpir! It’s one of my fav Street foods in Turkey!
Great vid Mac ....u cant go wrong with Istanbul ...make sure to check out the River ..dont take the tourist cruises ..they r a bit of a rip of ..just jump on a River taxis ...The Grand bazaar is great too and the Mosques are a must see too ..Especially the Blue Mosque
Thank you for showing and sharing the food with lil buddy, meow meow.
Places he chooses to get his food from are giving me the chills as a local of Istanbul. I'd be scared to get food poisoning if I ate that chicken doner.
Your are in Turkey, do a little bargaining ;)
Love your videos!
17:52 He said "Five Lera Bakhshish?.....No" He was objecting how little the tip was lol. I learned the word Bakhshish a while back.
*Thank you Mac your videos are amazing calm and soothing me😊love from India Kerala*
Greetings from Turkey bro ☺️
Greets Gokhan!
The best Kebap I had In Istanbul was at Sehzade… their lamb has so much of that grilled lamb flavour
You can go mall centers (avm) , palaces , musuems ( miniaturk and panoroma 1453) and populer restaurants like czn burak and nusret.
You eat delicious Turkish food, you make us hungry. Enjoy it. We will visit Türkiye...
That street looks like Leicester Square. That's surprising! Come to think of it the bridge you mentioned earlier is similar to Blackfriars bridge or is it Charing cross, one of thems anyways. I've only been to istanbul airport but not been outside, had to wait for when my husbands with me for a much better experience. Wow that area looks European, I'm really surprised. Had the impression it would be middle eastern like. It's really different when one spontaneously just go for a walk you get the feel of the place. Thank you for showing us......Sending my Love to Turkiye people, big hugs and I hope more people are found.
That's looks delicious and yummy 💚🇵🇭
Heaven city off foods& sweets = Istanbul
I lost count on how many times he said "Donor Kebab" 😂😂😂
If you're still in Istanbul, you should try the baked potatoes (called Kumpir). You find them at street stalls around the city and it would be great, if you made review on your favorites. If you are into fine dinning, try Nicole or Mikla - beside the great food, both places has beautiful views over the city.
Hi Mac. hopefully you are enjoying your time in Istanbul so far.. try the lehm bageen which is aaamazing and don't forget to taste baklava, its sooo delicious .
Gercek Istanbul turistik yerlerde degil iste. Nere baksan dünyanin her büyük sehrinde ayni atmosfer. New York‘ta yürüyince arap meksika cin atmosferi var. Lisbon‘a git, sokaklar turist dolu her yerde franzisca almanca konusuluyor. Venedik’e git, hic yerli insan yok. Globalizm‘in kötü tarafi
Istanbul is amazing this way , if you don’t like it go back to your country 😂😂
LOL 8:38 😂😂
I am From India,Kerala
You should visit Sultan Ayyup area, its where one of Prophet Mohammed companion is buried and Topkapi Palace. Beautiful place
United States in Turkish sounds like Yunanistan way Mac says it 😂 they think he’s Greek.
hahahaha, they were about to kick him into the sea. (just kidding)
@@ehatipo4598 they actually are nice to Greeks. They look similar and love each other outside politics. They are not racists to Greeks, like they are racists to Syrians, Asians and Africans.
-Sweet
-Seaweed?!

I would like to say a few words about Turkey first of all turkey is my favorite country the world's most beautiful beaches are there I go on holiday to Marmaris and Bodrum every year and the nightlife is incredible no doubt the best cuisine in the world. I had been to Istanbul 5 years ago i met great locals we drank till the morning and had fun turks are very funny thats why again I made a plan to spend a few days in Istanbul before going to my beautiful holiday cities in the south of Turkey. but dudee when I came to Istanbul this time, I never heard anyone speaking Turkish on the street.I said what's going on in my beautiful Istanbul.. Everywhere was Arab refugees and Arab tourists. take a look at the background in the video everyone is Arab if youre lucky maybe you'll see a few turkish
The locals got fed up with the problems caused by the Arab refugees and settled in the resort cities of Turkey And the rest of Europe has the same problem. local people say that the new government will send all the refugees this year, I hope this happens because when I go to turkey I want to hear Turkish if I want to hear Arabic I would go to middle east.
Wow, honestly, not so many can do what you doing . I think it takes a lot of energy to do all that walking in most of your vedeo , I wish that I can do the same . God bles you Nomac
9:04 this guy is famous footballer, his name is Pedri 🤣
Ill be there in 3 days looking forward to what youre doing
Hey Mac, all that food and juice and ice and Donar Kebab, Donuts, it made me hungry ,to see you eating all that food i will come to Istanbul to tast it to mmmmmmm hehehe thanks for showing around, see you in the next video...
Awesome video 🔥🔥👍❤️❤️❤️
Mac you gotta go eat dessert and drink tea/Turkish coffee at Hafiz Mustafa, there are several branches but the one near Aya Sophia is a vibe!!! Heaven🧿
Thanks for beautiful video
Thành phố rất đẹp , amazing !
Ye, döner kebab is the fucking beeeest! Its literally explodes in ur mouth with middle-eastern flavours, thats how good they are!
Yad tummy is not for street food Mac 🤣🤣🤣happy to watch your vids everyday ❤️❤️❤️ hi to others king Ali legend Luke demant boss Harry jaggard keep safe everyone
You can easily pass for Turkish!
3 dollars for that small juice? He apply you the tourist surcharge tax jeje
no its quite regular. its less than 2$ which is 25 tl
9:23 the guy thinks that u re from greece (Mac says united states but he understands "yunanistan" means greece in turkish)
Next time try the Baklava dessert........it's very addictive.
Hey Mac, you've been going back and forth from Asian to Europe, istanbul falls in 2 continents
9:17 In Turkey USA is known as ABD and when you said United States he thought Yunanistan which is Greece. Happens again 17:20
apart from this those 3 guys were really annoying. wouldnt leave a penny there.
You are so funny Mac, are you sure this is a river. I say it is the bosporus strait, when you cross it you are going from Europe to Asia and back :)
You need to get to the Anatolia coast line to one of the resorts
So cheap once you get out of Istanbul
With mixed fruit juice you have started taking care of your health Mac bro💪💪💪
Love your videos Mac! Am from Mumbai, India. Try to cover Mumbai and make sure to forget about being fit for a week or two, the street food is insane ❤️
Hey man, you should stay in Kadiköy Moda area, trust me. Welcome to Turkiye
They think you’re from Greece 😂 when you say United States, they hear Unanistan ( Greece) lol
Traveled to many countries, but i got to say that danish doner/shawarma is the best in the world. Beats german, turkish and pakistani doner/shawarma.
I suppose thats kind of the taste of local meat the doner kebab is made of. To my taste German one is the best and Italian is the worst.
9:23 he thought you said Yunanistan(Greece) when you said US :DD
1:08 HE SAID WELCOME TO NEW YORK NOT ISTANBUL 😅
MAC BROTHER FOOD IS ALWAYS VERY FILLING AND TASTY IN TURKEY.
TRY ALL THERE KEBABS.
CHALE CHALO.
LOVE FROM
ENGLAND
Hi mac bro how are you. You are my favourite vloger 💪💪💪
Jumper! 😂😂
Do you Istanbul is the city of cats
Keep loving them
Nanni Aliyah 🥰✌️
Mac when you say „United States“, for non-english speaking Turks it sounds a bit like „Yunanistan“ (which is the turkish word for Greece)😂 So thats where the confusion comes from
Video on 16:55 minutters . Look up on sky . Whats its that light ?
Stranger: Where are you from?
Mac: United States.
Stranger: ohh yunanistan
😂😂
Im going to 🇹🇷 in few days
Hello mac long times nappy to seeU Turkey is very nice country beautiful people delicious juice ❤😋
Nice vlog bro.
Sorry to say, but you’re totally being ripped off! 35 for the juice and then 75 for the ice cream is obscene. I’ve recently been to Istanbul and it’s 15 for the juice (large) and 20 for the ice cream (large).
