I used to live in the large barn house opposite the church in East somerton lovely area, films have been made at that ruined church as I've seen film crews there 🎉🎉🎉
@@Bongobenhi yes it was a spooky old place all right have a track there you can walk or cycle to the beach lovely place really miss liveing there live in potter heigham now lol great vids cheers man
Just stayed on a nice quiet site called Green Haven at Rumburgh, Suffolk. 14 pitches, toilets, showers and an honesty shop. Pub and a spooky priory church in walking distance, what more do you need! Site seems popular so might be a good one to review end of season. Keep on living the dream.
Great vlog. I can watch people like yourself making these videos all day long rather than the rubbish on Normal television. Interesting and all local to my home in Norfolk. Down to earth guy. Thank you. 👍
Thanks for watching. It’s a great ruin to visit but you will need to use Google maps to find it as it’s not signed as it is in a private woods but the land owner has fenced in a path for people to access it. It’s definitely worth visiting if in the area 👍🍻🚐
Hi BB, Great channel! Food for thought; how about a top 5 coastal villages vid? I'm avidly taking notes and planning further road trips based on your reviews so please keep up the good work!!
❤❤My Winterton❤️❤️ For us, it was the roundhouses and a wedding there, for our first time…. And then we absolutely fell in love with it - the dunes actually are a massive pull, although sadly it has changed sooo much even in Winterton :( you can see that by the cafe being reclaimed by the Sea and the amount of land lost is really shocking. 😢 But dude / that steak Oh my days 😮🎉
It is a great place. I just prefer the big empty beaches of north Norfolk, but I did really enjoy filming this video and that beach at hemsby was fantastic. Yeah that steak was the highlight for me tho 😂 cheers mate 👍🍻🚐
@@Bongoben see we would say Winterton Beach vast and empty - least always has been when we’ve been there 🥳 We nearly car camped in Winterton, but wasn’t quite couples car camp friendly, so ended up in GY 😁
@@Bongoben ar not there 😉 we be stealthy stealthy 🥷 This is why car camping is sooo good (especially like you self contained with all facilities) I could be outside your house with full lights on in car and from the outside would just look like a normal car parked up 🙏
@zafiracamper very true. I might have to do a park up video over the summer holidays as I have no campsite vids recorded and weather does not look good next week. It would be more park up rather than stealth camp tho as my curtains do not keep light out
I think Winterton is famous for the sand dunes rather than the village, though never been myself. Hemsby for me is like hell on earth along with Caister. Been dragged there a couple of times by my wife who had a holiday there donkeys years ago, couldn't wait to get out 🤣 The church ruins look really interesting, I watched a UA-cam channel recently where a photographer went there, but he didn't say where it was, but now I know and it's on my bucket list, and the other church looks good too. Another great vid mate, you've got these nailed 👌
Cheers mate. Yeah it’s a great church ruins to visit. I only visited it for the first time last year. There has been loads of UA-camrs visit it. Thanks for watching 🍻👍🚐

It was actually Hemsby that I stayed in a static. The Lacon Arms do a fabulous Sunday roast 😊 I'm not into the holiday park thing at all but I couldn't fault it. Great little Base to explore the coast. Went to Poppylands 1940s tea rooms for my Birthday, super little place near Horsey gap. Next time it will be car camping I think so I can get further along the coast every couple of days
Glad you had a nice birthday In Norfolk.Yeah there are definitely advantages to car camping. I did consider doing that wen my last bongo had to be scraped but luckily I found this bongo that was in my price range: thanks for watching 👍🍻🚐

I prefer the quieter beaches further up like Cart Gap or Bacton. I guess hemsby is popular cos they have the arcades and that as well as the beach.
