I definitely think about my outfit when I go to get my hair done , but my thinking is always around trying to stop them from giving me a “mom” haircut…so I go to the coolest hair place I’ve found and wear my most “me” clothes and jewelry so they can see I have style even though I’m almost 40 and have 3 kids/teenagers. 😂 My husband is reading the new Franzen and enjoying it so far. I peeped that Books of Jacob …waiting on my copy from the UK 😬!
Can you link the video on Cruel Optimism + On Freedom? Also that Didion book I saw someone reading in my hometown and couldn’t read the title but thought it looked stunning! Slightly disappointed because I have already read that book!
@@hannahmay11 keep us posted. Also on grief I found The Rev Richard Coles book powerfully moving and comforting.. Hope you find some comfort in your reading. X
i've never tried heat tech. does it actually work? idk why i'm a doubtful consumer lol! in terms of books about grief, i'm not sure if you've read this already but the friend by sigrid nunez is a great novel that explores loss which you might find interesting.
Yeh it’s honestly amazing, I’ve worn it in minus temperatures while travelling and always loved it. Ahh I have another of nunez’ on my shelf but not that one
I see mushrooms on toast in my future tomorrow...
That cover for the Didion is soooo beautiful, wowza!
Haha enjoy 🌿🌿
