A little mistake in the video! When i talk about boons & flaws i acidentally cut out a part so it sounds weird.
Basically, obvious makes it easier for enemies to spot you and haemophilic makes you lose blood faster.

Reminder, if you cant defeat the bandits at Erisia you can go back to vigil and head to the castle, in there to the left you can find a trainer you can spar with, if you lose against the trainer you wont die and youll go back to normal
If you lose to the trainer too many times you can die of blood loss tho 😢

one thing you missed is that there is a guy in the middle of etris that gives a free ring with random stat boosts.
the blacksmith in etris, there is this an apprentice in the outside corner of the building that gives a discount on cloth making it 3notes each.
I've watched four different beginner guides for Deepwoken, and this is the only one that actually taught me anything important early game! Tysm for making this !
im starting to play again this game and a lot has changed since i left it, please make more guides like this, its really useful.

I feel that, been playing for hours and I’ve died so many times to others. Funny enough the fact that this happened made me super tilted when I died to a measly bandit. Hope I can level up one time today
@@misterwafflefudge3145 if youre struggling with pve as well id recommend trying the trial of one, at power one you go to it (theres tutorials for how to get there) and you have to fight enemies like sharkos, golems, etc it really helped me get better at pve and if you beat the thresher you unlock a spawn point over there

agility ankl;e =weights
intelligence =encyclopedia
willpower= prayer beads
charisma= make friends
weapon =fight
attundent =mantras
I just pick up a purple lighthouse at sea and that solves all financial problems.
Do NOT use stilleto as a starter. All it does it teach you how to spam crit and run around. Pick sword instead, as it actually teaches you how to be good at the game

They added a tutorial that is basically chapter 1 but you get free shit
pretty good so far, cant wait for all the chapters are out so when i get new players to play i can nudge them your way to teach and train them lol.

just a me thing, but i think isle isnt good for anything important early game. i would recomend starting in etrea because it has shops, bank, smith basicly everything that isle has, but it also has a npc that gives you a free ring if you arent using jus karita (you aint gonna have it at start) also its closer to all the important islands then isle of vigils. Isle is good only for two things that is uncapping your weapon stat and lvling your mantra if you use gale (dont recomend for beginners, but its everyones choice) i would recomend flame for starting players because of burn dmg, stileto is fast and hard to parry, but its not good for pve. so if you want to do pve instead pick axe or sword they are overall better because of the poster dmg(block breaing) and they're dmg to hp. i would recommend new players to watch videos about depths as there is an easy way out as well.

I spent 2 hours playing this game yesterday and I didn’t even leave the isle of vigils… chopped down a lot of trees tho!
Bro this would be helpful if i didnt get jumped as i try to chop down wood for that one lady in the beginning

bro farming the bandits is practically impossible because they 3v1 you and no matter how much i parry them and attack them they dont die and they kill me then i die to OP enemies in the depths and lose my character
the npcs are hard ro fight for me, im like mid at parrying but like the npcs are so strong and the players are like alright for me because i never got killed by one but one gave me items before but like the npcs are hard to fight

Very well done video, but please do mention on next part players jumping you while you're a freshie. ITS PART OF THE EXPERIENCE
btw i also think it would be better to explain why would a player be offensive with you (ministry rep, starkindred, tacet bounty, voidwalkers, etc...) that way new players may be more understanding and don't abandon the game because of possible toxicity
hey man great video any tips for end game im a newish player and have gotten to lvl 18 3 times i have a oath and just dont know what to do from this point on farming is rlly slow at this point and there must be better ways to level then the depths or starswept valley.
Have you fought duke? You could go layer 2 as well. I suck at the game but i try these things sometimes lol

what do you do if the gate is closed in the depths
If the gate it shut, you’re supposed to wander around the city and ring 4 bells in total. Its way easier to hop servers until you find an open gate though

What does Vitality, Erudition, Proficiency & Songchant do?
Those are little permanent buffs you can give your character! Vitality gives you 10 health, Erudition gives you more mana and faster mana/posture regen, Proficiency gives you 5% weapon scaling and Songchant gives you 5% mantra scaling.
Not sure if the numbers are right but i hope this helps
