About Gold Shaw Farm: Gold Shaw Farm is more of a farm-in-progress than an honest-to-goodness farm. Our dream is that someday, we can transform our 150+ acre parcel of land into a regenerative and productive homestead and farm. - Розваги
Hey Morgan, just wanted to let you know how much of a comfort your channel has been to me, i discovered your channel when i was still a freshman in highschool and im now graduating in less than 3 months, im so happy to see that your channel is still kicking after all these years and even happier that you're still the same man all those years ago.
The fully edited episode makes you look like a man on a mission with all the know how. It has been interesting to see the mistakes, trails & errors, life that pops up, & great feats. Thank you for sharing it both ways. ✌🏻⭐👏🏻
No eye protection. I built many projects when I owned my farm in Manitoba, Canada 🇨🇦 . I got sawdust in my left eye. It took much tender loving care to get it out. I was lucky, no damage to my eye. From that day forward, I always wear eye protection.
I am just concerned and don't wish that upon anyone. ❤ from 🇨🇦.
Good job.
Might be worth putting a camera in there so you can keep an eye on the birds and ensure the heat lamps are safe. Last thing you want is a fire with your lovely new barn. Make sure fire hoses and extinguishers are readily available. Just a thought. Great job on your bird hatchery. Well done.
I think he said he plans on cameras in there
That worried me to with his heat source & wood! I would feel more comfortable, if I were him, to have an alarm & definitely extinguishers easily accessible! ❤
Filming is so much harder than people think. Thank you for your continued dedication to excellence. It keeps me working hard even when I'd really rather not. ♡♡♡
I’m glad you put this up. I’m seeing a lot of things that are new, it’s not just recycled footage from the previous episodes of the hatchery build. Also I love ASMR
While it is entertaining to see the whole structure go up in 12 minutes, I am glad that Ginnie and Pablo made the edit.
This is ASMR even Ron Swanson would approve of. Well done!
If they ever come up with a smell-o-vision version of UA-cam I'll be back for a whiff of all that freshly cut wood.
You wouldn't be too happy smelling his dairy air _(technically it would be "beef air," but that's not as funny)._
There are two reasons to watch this recap : first, to celebrate that you did it ; second, to celebrate that it's done, and we can go back to more "normal" videos about the farm and its animals.
The last episode of the series, showing us the cows for the first time in a while, really made me realize that I missed the usual content.
Same. He should keep the episode series to like 3 episodes max. Not 7.
@ladyteruki not everyone agrees with you; if you're unhappy scroll on. Life is too short to be so invested in a UA-cam video.😃
@@initialdluvrNah, I really enjoyed this series, every episode was fun.
Great summary of the build I did enjoy the original multiple posts Your building methods of trial and error remind me of my own 😂
I think u did a GREAT job!!
I sure do love me a time lapse
I like the right photo in the thumbnail: Mr. Monk doing his hand-waving magic to figure out what to do with the hatching machine. Cheers from Denmark!
Love watching you and your adorable helper...
Morgan, I like this. You have made something that will work, and you have done it yourself. Very well done!👍. Regards, Stephen.
Good to see this all in one video, you did an awesome job!
Announcer's voice: Let the hatching begin! 🥳🎉🥳 🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣🐣
Didn’t realize that you had so many haters… scroll on if you don’t have anything nice to say. I appreciate the work and the sharing!!!❤❤❤
The craftsmanship has improved since the first barn 🎉 it looks great!
I remember when you had all of those ducks, and every morning you would release them towards the pond! It seems like it was yesterday! ❤👋🏻 from Northern Florida.
Good to see Kurt is still part of the farm
I’m grateful for posting positive Timelapse 😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😊😊❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Gold bless the hatchery, without it we'd be lost.
City Boy l'm very proud to see how far you have come especially your building/construction skills on this video. Your passion and determination is showing and paying off. Great job my friend🎉
I love how it turned out and am very happy about how detailed we got to see the progress. The timelapse is awesome and inspired me to build a garden shed myself. You really did a great job there and I´m looking forward to see hatchlings in the future ^^ And don´t mind your small hickups with the dimensions, you´re not a carpenter, who´s expected to know, how to do it properly the first time ^^
That's a lot of work, but it shows it can be done. It doesn't HAVE to be perfect, it just has to function.
Winston Churchill stated that “perfection is the enemy of progress.” I think it was adequately planned and adjusted as needed. People who don't understand can scroll on, LoL. 😂
I'm guessing this insulated room will reduce the electricity costs to run the incubators.
Who else here refers to electricity as hydro because some is generated by hydroelectric dams?
Looking forward to seeing some chicks, goslings and ducklings hatch! 🐣🌷🥚
Usually i hate asmr with a passion but building stuff has always been a calming thing to me so this was actually ok. Cool video 👍
Great series and recap. Thank you
Are sprinkler systems or some other kind of fire extinguishing system something people put it barns like Morgan’s? Using heaters adds to fire risk and that barn and its contents are a huge investment.
Please wear safety glasses when using woodworking equipment.
Loved seeing your progress. I'm in Scotland so I deal with the cold too. We usually have chicks in our house 😂
He used to but his wife put a stop to it
SNOOOOOOP! Did you know she's working on turning her life story into a show and one of the producers of The Wire is helping her. So excited! ❤
❤ Great job and video, Morgan! ❤
I'm amazed that Pablo and Ginny aren't fazed by the sounds of the saws, etc.. Cats' hearing is 16x more sensitive than ours, and most cats would be trying to get away from the noise. But they're being chill.
Thanks Morgan!! I really enjoyed this!!
The ASMR sounds and the editing were great!! 😍😍👏👏
Please remember to like and subscribe
I enjoyed this video.
Thabk you.
Morgan, saw you use saws and nail guns. Happy you used a mask, too, but what about safety glasses? All it takes is one accident, and there goes the whole visual ballgame.
Use safety glasses, Morgan. Please.
👍
Wonderful video.Greatings from Germany.👋👋👋👋
I'm so sorry for your loss of Molly. I think she was dying and she left to pass. I'm so sorry. Much love and prayers for your healing....
You have done a great job! Love your channel!
Impressive! Even have the pencil tucked behind the ear like the pros do lol.
Great job! 💚
LOL you built that room quick in only 11:52 Minute's.......Thanks Morgan you are the best my friend 👍
Old F-4 Shoe🇺🇸
Great video and very well done, Morgan! 👏🏼 🎉😍
lololol I'm so dead! ... I was so thinking about the WIRE and he put the nailgun scene in!! omg bro go jokes
LOVE THE VIDEOS ADN WANNA SAY LOVE ALL THE WORK YOU PUT IN THEM
I have questions about humidity in the room and insulation. Will there be a lot of moisture that might affect the plywood floor or anything else? If the floor isn't covered by laminate, might it buckle? Would it be good to leave some floor expansion room next to the walls? What would be a recommended way to finish the floor so it's easy to clean as well? Is the floor insulated? If someone living where it gets very cold was to want to have an insulated floor, could a base be built and insulated first and then the walls be constructed on top?
a my favorite animal ducks and this is a good video
0:06 Literally watching this while my second gosling starts to externally pip. 😊 I'm putting my fencing up this week so the new birds and our current trio have their own space. (And, also so my chickens can forage in peace without Larry the Enticer (gander) charging them. Lol) "Just gonna send it!" 😂
Such a cool montage 😄
You and Allison can use it as a sauna each winter before you start the bird hatching!
Cute, hatchery Morgan
Now we just needs some eggs to hatch 😃
My husvands psychiatrist just talks about random stuff and notes his expressions and responses. He then adjusts his meds based on this interaction.. He is always right. Experience in the profession means a lot.
Should have ended it with "Release the Quacken!" with hatching baby ducks...I know, too early for that, it would have been good though.
I am not sure I understand the little fans you put above the door...they can't move anything
Now I miss regular, rambly farm vlogs 😂.
Hey Morgan how's you and your wife?
😊
Hey it just occurred to me that you could use the same or similar space for hatching baby plants. Not just for getting a head start on garden plants. Microgreens for you and your beloved would be a great way to add home grown fresh greens in the winter. Also, how about a collab with High Mowing Seeds!
My 6yo - 'Is Morgan done yet? Or is Alfred comming?
😂
You could go get true 2x4’s cut for you instead of the smaller non 2x4’s that are warped
Have you checked out using a biscuit cutter for items such as your table?
What room temp sensor are you going to use? I’d recommend sensor push
Question: I'm just wondering why you didn't make the roof slope of the chick room match the roof slope inside your barn? Couldn't you have followed the same angle?
Can I confirm if the video for the BARN have been posted, been itching to see that. from Phillippines.
I bear a message from Gini Barn Cat. "I am offended you would create this space in my home and then ban me from it. However, I do like to view my domain from on high, and the roof of this new room will be a warm place. The gap between the roofs looks cozy. I demand you put cat sized stairs on the outside of the room so I may conveniently reach this new perch."
there is nothing difficult about it, it was done in no time
Rk Miles in st. Johnsbury might be a better deal for your lumber vs home depot
So why dont you add a tray for the brooder instead of that flimsy table? I mean sure you have it but i have seen them break under less weight before just from aging.
Thats what i call a filler Episode :D
May look like filler...I see TONs of editing time and a single video which can be referenced later for the whole build.
Yeah maybe, but I’d be proud too. It is an indoor room he built and that is no small task. Sometimes as a content creator you want to put up what you want. 🤷♂️ I’m just here for the avian content 😂😂
😅
I feel like I’m seeing a lot of new things in this video. It’s not just recycled footage
@@jaynedavis3388 Feelings can be deceiving.
Have you considered making a model of any future construction plans?
Please set up a safe confined area for the blind duck and companion. Where the duck doesn't have hazards to hurt themselves.
Is there a way to measure the oxygen saturation? Seems like it might be pretty air tight.
Oh, I see the fans now.
Are some of the people at the stores where you shop, your veiwers?
Well well
👏👏👏
I loved the way you hidden
your boo boos. I do the same thing. You did awesome job. A+A+
You need my sister. She'd have it built fast. Including electrical wiring. She's a wizard at that. I can do all the hatching and veterinarian work. Are you going to computerize it?
Eye protection is really important. Get some quality glasses and WEAR THEM!
Is that Kurt Cobain at the end?
Tall duck 41
Tall duck 88
Is this episode 10 lol
Calm designer 48
Fast money 57
Cruel advocat 63
I've already seen this...
Not the last part. I enjoy rewatching the first part.
Intelligente dolphin 64
At this rate, building your brooder room won't take a full day.
Morgan you may not be a great carpenter, you certainly could say your more of a engineer. Which i feel is a more important trait to have. Practical > pretty
This video series should be called, *_"Wringing every last possible drop of content from a project."_*
Man that hurt to watch as a relatively handy person. I know you're learning but so much was done wrong, it looked like you were just kinda screwing stuff in at random. All of the gaps and misaligned boards were driving me nuts. You definitely gotta work on cutting straight lines; fitting is much easier when everything is cut within 1/16th of your measurements. Clamps and saw horses will help keep your board still and then you just need to maintain a steady hand and match the edge of the blade to your pencil line.
So i basically watched all these old videos into one smh
How long can a guy stretch one video out...Jesus...
Not long enough for me and others who enjoy it. And by the way,,,,,,, Jesus is not a cuss word
@@IbelongtoJesus. Who said it was?
@@IbelongtoJesus. You're right - Jesus isn't a cuss word, but it's one of the best expletive interjections in the English language.
@@bmorechavis obviously, it was used that way at the end of the sentence. 👁️👁️
@@StoneE4 But it was used that way here 😶
Why did this project take up so many episodes. It was a little frustrating and annoying to watch. I would have preferred a single video about the building of the hatchery. But, thanks for what you do.
Don’t you think 8 videos on the same topic is a little too much?
Sadly, it sometimes takes more than a day to build something, edit it and package it beautifully for it to suit you.
Why complain. Most of us love watching. Perhaps this isn't enjoyable to you, but you're not forced to watch 🥴
this dude can't build anything, lol
Lazy recap.
Ninety nine % of us disagree with you. Why watch if you are going to complain?
@@IbelongtoJesus. Why do you read and respond to critical comments on this video if you're going to complain?
@@IbelongtoJesus. Also, roughly 55% of the world population believes the words of a book that speaks of talking snakes, a magical dirt man, and a woman made from a rib of said magical dirt man. So, with that in mind, even if your arbitrary percentage was true, who cares that 99% of _"you"_ disagree?
