Dale questioning Shane about Otis and standing up to him even with Shane’s crazy look is one of my favourite parts of the episode Also I loved how Dale didn’t mention that Glenn told him about the barn or Lori pregnancy.
Hating Rick is not it lmaoooo cut yes Lori & Shane obviously need to be both held accountable. Rick handled it right in this moment because there are bigger things to worry about currently rather than something that already happened.
The bantor back and forth I love it. I love Rick so much. I feel horrible for Lori. Shane and Lori really thought he was dead. I can forgive them for that but Shane is seriously got issues

Rick wound wasnt even healed when he woke up in the hospital....So I feel they were wrong. I get they thought he was dead and the world was ending but sheesh.

The world literally fell apart and at any second her and/or her child could be dead but somehow you want her to do what??? She hasn’t touched Shane since Rick’s been back and has been at Rick’s side every step of the way. All the while you’re praising Shane after he raised a gun on Rick while his back was turned and then tried to SA her. Like how does this make sense to you? And she wasn’t gaslighting Rick, she was explaining how she was feeling about bringing a baby into a world with no real home, barely any food and oh yeah, there’s dead people walking around eating folks. That’s not gaslighting that genuine fears of a mother of a child she’s already almost lost.

I don't think he meant that only Shane is wrong, but that Shane crossed the line when he literally tried to abuse Lori, and I'm on Dale's side, the guy put a GUN to his best friend's head, I would look too for him as a danger to the group too, but Shane has skills and a more logical mind that everyone else there doesn't have, fire episode.

@@AlejoConejo-vb8lnnah bro, I’d have to respectfully disagree. Season 4 had some great moments and episodes, such as episode 8, but especially in the last half it is a bit boring and with season 9 the first six episodes are great but after that it goes down hill from there.
@lydle848 I could say the same about 5 ngl. Some great episodes but don't forget the Hospital stuff that took like four whole episodes for a terrible conclusion, as well as the arrival at A******** which slowed down the pace tremendously.
Also, Season 9 yeah started out very strong but after Episode 6 the story it set up was so well paced that there wasn't a single filler episode, Idk what you mean about it going downhill. It only went downhill in 10 when that storyline was stretched out for almost the whole season when it could have been shorter.
Btw its so hard to discuss this without spoilers haha. But I'm sure you know what I mean.
@@AlejoConejo-vb8ln yeah it is hard to talk about without spoiling lmao, I may be a bit of a season 9 hater only because of what happens in/after episode 6. I mean ur right on season 5 about the hospital but I really enjoyed the season as a whole and yes the arrival at A******* did slow down the pacing but I personally enjoyed it alot and I believe it had the best group and most the characters were at their best in season 5! But I do think 3 and 6 and better than 5. Respect ur opinion tho.
And I also think season 5 had the best first episode by far

honetsly Rick being chill about Lori being with Shane was one of the biggest surprises for me in season 2, I mean him finding out was set up since episode 1 shows you how understanding Rick actually is man.
I was surprised too but looking back his whole thing was that he was patient, rational, thought about things instead of lashing out or insulting. I think he’s also aware that Lori thought he was dead and that the world was ending. As a police officer one of the things you learn about is trauma and coping and how the human brain can be
I think Ricks pissed as shit, but he just puts it on the back burner, he instead chooses to focus on the baby and the group instead of his own personal feelings.
That's Ricks advantage over Shane is he can separate his own personal feelings from a situation, where as Shane can't

Something I love about Carl is how mature he is when he needs to take responsibility He didn’t make excuses for stealing a gun apologized and agreed to Lori’s conditions.
The acting between Andrew Lincoln (Rick) And Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori) At the end of the episode is phenomenal I think that scene is probably my favourite in the episode just based on the amazing acting.
I get why Maggie was pissed but this situation was a bit different because Glenn specifically offered and Lori asked if he was still up for it It was a lot different than the well situation I think with the well Glenn did feel used but not when Lori asked because she fully gave him the option to turn her down and he’s the one who originally offered Plus that time it was for someone he cares about and is worried about so I give that one a pass at least.
Man I love your discussions They’re so well thought out and you give consideration to every character Your opinions fluctuate and you guys seem very understanding of what’s going on with the characters and their behaviour instead of always reacting emotionally I really love hearing your thoughts with that in mind.

It surprised myself and company that Rick knew about Lori & Shane, not every man is going to react the same I guess. Maybe it was a difficult one for him because he loves his wife (who he probably knows wouldn't cheat on him) and yet he loves Shane like a brother, but probably weighed it up that it happened under the circumstances of them thinking he was dead, however I thought it was way too quick as it is said Rick wakes up on Day 59 of the Apocalypse and Glenn rescues him on Day 60, but maybe Lori did that because most likely a mix of emotions of loneliness and wanting to attach herself to a strong protector for the sake of her and her son.
Glenn made me laugh the way he just blurted out everything to Dale about "walkers being in the barn" and "Lori's pregnant".😂🤣 Poor Glenn he really cant keep a secret.
I always wondered if Dale looked on Andrea as more tgan just a daughter. He's not stupid, he probably knew from their body language etc that something happened betwen Shane & Andrea, but overall, Dale isn't stupid, he doesn't miss a trick.
Maggie spoke some truth to Glenn about taking silly risks for the group etc etc.
In the comics Andrea and Dale got together as a couple

I actually never took what Lori was saying (at the end of this episode specifically) as gaslighting. Ik a lot of people did but to me Lori is just a case of an emotional person who makes rash decisions when faced with new information. Carl getting shot, their base (the farm) not being theirs, and the chance of her baby dying quickly are all terrifying concepts. Plus there’s the fact that she had a c section with Carl. What would happen if they were forced out and she couldn’t give birth somewhere secure? What if walkers came in? Idk, I feel like it was a genuine grapple with what she thought was right given they’re only a few months into the apocalypse and everything is still unknown.

There is a web series about the hospital. Gives a little back story to how Rick may have survived as long as he did in the coma. I haven't been able to find it in a while, but its a small moment and they never show him or mention him by name.

Kids just adust to fucked up situations way easier than adults who are used to the way things were and are out of their comfort zone. To an adult who spent most of their life in the normal world, this whole thing is appalling and awful.
But to young kids, they get used to it fast and it becomes more normal to them.
