Phillips Construction Night! - RUSH Late Models - Winchester Speedway - 4/27/2024

It was one of those kinda nights. A lot of moisture, and 4 classes running meant the track was heavy, rough and FAST. We ran fasted in Warm-ups, but tonight they decided to use a pill draw rather than time to set the Heat Races. This meant we started in the rear and had to battle to keep whatever we had.
Davin had a GREAT car, but positioning is everything! He was in P3 on the last lap and tried to throw a Hail Mary to go for 2nd and nearly LOST it! He managed to gather it up and get back on the throttle, but the car behind him slipped by at the line, giving us P4…
Disappointing we didn’t get our 3rd podium in a row, but it was our 5th Top 5 in a row!
It won’t be long until we get those CHECKERS!
