The raven's probably thinking "See how well i've trained my human? Soon you all will be trained!"
pro trick : you can watch movies on Kaldrostream. Been using it for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.
@Sterling Zane Yup, have been using KaldroStream for months myself :D

Raven: ok human I want you to remove that tape so it doesn’t get stuck on me.
*removes tape*
Raven : GOOD BOY
1:45
Couldn’t help but catch the look of longing and admiration in the man’s (1:45) expression when he moved his arm closer to the raven. I think he was really hoping the raven would hop on and interact with him directly.
Can’t blame him honestly, who doesn’t enjoy the coolest animal in the room wanting to be your friend?
that's because it's wildlife presenter chris packham.animals know these things and are drawn to them.
Chris is a mad lad, also on the autistic spectrum with birds being one of his special interests.
I feed wild crows and when they sit close to me I always get mesmerized because they are so beautiful. I love crows and ravens.
@@crispinmcsticks All humans are on the autistic spectrum just like all humans are on the psychopathic spectrum.
The bird is the smartest animal in the room.
joseph b hahahahaha lolz
S. Labouisse You already lost the argument. She is blonde. The bird is the smartest in the room
@@igiornogiovannahaveadream649 s t e r e o t y p e s
@Jay Eidenschinkjr lmao I had forgotten about this and you just reminded me xD
And it knows it too.
Imagine yourself in the place of the raven a bunch of strange creatures around you, looking at you and applauding you just because you took something to eat.
Sounds like a bad acid trip.
@@CemetarysNeighbor woah
Imagine animals not thinking that way.
“Well, I hope you packed your bags kid, because you’re going on a trip!”
I use to study their brains, extremely intelligent animal, they're known for their strategic thinking abilities. They can categorise and memorise your facial image for up to 3 years. So if you feed a raven, he's gonna code you in as a friend and remember your face for 3 years.
I think its longer
I’ve been feeding rooks where I work for years now and around this time of year they show up to feed their chicks, and I might not of seen them for months and they will only come up to the gate if they can see me so yes not surprised to learn this!
@@Kyzer4124 yep that checks out.
What do I feed them?
@@fmjjjjn7510 According to ATSHQ/American Tarantula & Animals: For ravens, possible are seedless (!) pieces of watermelons, apples, and unsalted kale or spinach. Dangerous are chocolate, sugary, processed foods, seizures, uncooked beans, peppers, onions, garlic, salted foods and again: seeds (for example: please be careful with apples or cherries or peaches). Thank you! :)
He had a piece of duct tape stuck to his beak from trying to take it off the hole and he didn't want to get any more stuck to him so he waited for the guy to remove the rest of it which had the sticky part facing up. If you used something else besides sticky tape he would have got it right away.
He was training the trainer to remove it (grin)
@@marilynalvarez9951 lol
Wow. Yea he gets his work done by others.
For sure. Sticky tape a delicate feathers. Most people had no clue
Ravens are my favorite birds. They are amazing.
Ravens Crows Magpies>Eagles Falcons Hawks

Troy Oliver Pshhhh
Same
I have a Raven that I've fed in my garden for 18 months. He visits every day, he even taps on the window when he wants fed.
They are brilliant animals and they have a sense of humor. I've heard that they are smarter than dogs.
Yes they definitely are, as much as I love dogs
I agree with another commenter; he didn't want to get the sticky tape on his feathers
LOL. That was so cute that he was wary of it being a trap! 😄
Exactly , it was scared they were going to stitch him up
And he didn't want more tape stuck on his beak. He pulled the string right after all of the sticky tape was pulled off.
Raven: *rips thing open*
Woman: "I can't believe it"
Lol ok lady
lol, as SOON as he knew it was safe when his handler ripped the rest of the tape off he went right in to pull the string. He ALREADY had that part figured out in the middle of his fluttering around. Corvids are so impressive.
Not impressed. My crow invented a time machine.
My crow should meet your crow. I quipped once about drowning and he yelled "Help! blup blup" He had never heard any references to drowning before. I'm creeped out now.
I went to the bank to get a loan to build a time machine. I told them "if I'm successful, I'll be able to pay you back before you even loan me the money".
Watching the ravens steal the golfballs from the local golf course always makes me chuckle. Especially when you can see the golfers looking all over for their golf ball. lol........... Then they bring them over to the fell im on and stash them like they do eggs they steal from the local chicken farm. ha............ They are great fun.
He’s seen this sorta puzzle before but it’s amazing he puts it together like he can base past experiences with new puzzles
Imagine aliens looking at us solving relatively simple puzzles, and they are like "OMG I can't believe it" "So cute" "Who knew they were so clever?" :D
Bren is a lovely Raven, I love him! Ravens are my favourite! They are the most intelligent birds on earth!
Raven: “I passed up a full ride to Yale for this...”
Just saw one of these like I did in 2018. This year it was one huge big Boi! Laughed with a guy walking into the gas station I always go to and he said "that thing could take a small dog!" It was beautiful, the color shining from the chest was gorgeous colors. Must have been the sun reflecting from the oils on his feathers.
BEST BIRD ON THE PLANET! love ravens!
Image if a crowd of people were watching you take a math test.
uh, he was led to this
It's a raven! They are capable of this level of problem solving, I've seen this in person.
the dudes tapping on the hole.
would love one as a pet but know they are hard work and need a lot of time and plenty of activities to keep them busy.. Some say even more demanding than a dog or cat.
Most birds are, even parrots. SO many of them end up going from home to home because people don't realize it's a 24hr job to take care of them. It's really sad :(
@@wholeNwon Yeah I'd rather befriend a crow or raven and let it come and go from my house as it pleased, instead of keeping one as a pet.
I know some people that don't know the difference between sticks and strings.
The ravens fed the prophet Elijah by the stream. Love them.
This was either the worst demonstration of how a raven solves problem, or the best demonstration pic how the raven uses people to solve problems
Put this crow as a regular weekly show in Vegas. He'll beat Celine Dion's and Mariah Carey's ticket sales record handsdown!
Them and crows are fantastic 😂
It was so easy test for him. And obviously he thinks it's a trap.
Simply Simply lovely
Raven: I don’t want to get it, because every time I do something cool, everyone starts yelling and hitting their hands!
Intelligent baby love u❤💞💕
I wish I had this guy to take my college tests for me....
Ahh what a cutie
I can't even get my ten year old brother to do that. But I still call him bird brain.
Amazingly clever corvid!
obviously terrified, the way he jumps up to check out the clappers.
Amazing... He was worried it was a trap.
Not quite optimal conditions for a test but smart bird
Wanted the raven to laugh hysterically after removing the tape
Crows are awesome ^_^
Doesnt seem like he solved it by himself , but ok🤣🤣🤣
By removing the bottom part of duct tape? That’s all he did because the duct tape was sticky and got stuck to his beak which it uncomfortable.
Love Bran 😍
Smart bird.
i would have taken a lot longer than that bird. WOW
So sweet
With no help, it may have taken a few more minutes but the bird would’ve definitely gotten the food
g'boy!!
Modern day raptors
The raven is smarter than me
smart good boy
"Bran" means "raven". You named the raven "raven".
If I named my cat "Cat" I'd get looks, regardless if I taught him to poo in the loo.
Amazing.
Now I want a pet raven
Clever bird
Stop criticizing owner for guiding the bird! Raven was nervous. He would figured out hot to get the food anyway, but without trainer help it would have taken way more time.
Maybe if they had another 50 people in the room that would help
So much for the insult of being a "bird brain"!
I like that. MY name is Raven.
incredible =]
The man showed w/ his hand where hole was.
cannot they find a smaller set?
Woops, indeed they are ;D
I love THE MOST HIGH'S animals. 😁🙏
Lol, that's great
Raven is intelligent bird
So are ravens
I want one
That is not a raven, it’s a crow
Obviously Brandon Stark warged into that raven.
I could have figured it out.
Russell Allen I only self deprecate when I am really, really drunk and can’t make it to the toilet. I was being facetious. They are actually pretty amazing. There is another video in which the raven uses multiple tools to get a treat out of a tube.
A raven. There are differences you know?
Lol, yay!
The raven doesn't look like it really cares that much about the audience. Probably isn't un-used to human contact.
I think the bird has problems with large crowds. I know I do!
What's the big deal here? I could figure out that puzzle too. It's just that I don't feel like it.
Cant the people just let the raven do ffs
Whos here after watching the Joe Rogan clip about ravens
Joe Rogan you made us watch this.
I don't know why everyone is so excited... I could do that
I hate that I can't see how many dislikes this video has
you have way to many people in the room the Raven is trying to do what your asking him, the people worry him a bit hes not sure,
The only thing I hate, that I can't stand; is people talking to their animals like they're 4 years old, fucking annoying and stupid.
+De Void lol right, i thought i was the only one who noticed that, but i think only dogs like that bullshit , even if adult animals intel is equivalent or comparable to human's children, it doesn't mean they think the same or appreciate it, its so fucking dumb when ppl talk like that with animals
But is it not a crow and not a raven? It cawing and looks like one. And it doesn't have the "beard" that a raven has.
But then again, I could be mistaken.
+Kirei You can tell by the lower-pitched caw sounds it makes, also from the tail feather being a diamond shape instead of cut off. Ravens will also sometimes have a hook shape on the end of their beaks.
that's a crow it has a knotched tail
Its a raven. The noise it made was the noise of a raven and its neck had the gill feathers crows dont have.
Not that impressive, there was tape over the hole and the bird picked at the tape. I'm sure the bird is smart but that didn't show much.
I'm inclined to agree with you. I'm sure it had seen string lots of times before as well.
scrapplepig dude we say there're intelligent of their kind, we're not saying there freaking geniuses among mankind or something
albert I have chickens and if I put them in front of that box with tape on it, they would do the same thing. And they would pull that string out too.
> They are killing machines that need to be controlled. Deadly because of how intelligent they are.
sorry .. i lost track .. are you talking about ravens or humans?
Is not fun if he doesn’t let him figure it out by himself.
I'm not quite sure, but that one seems more like a crow and not a raven... YES they're completely different upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/29/Common_raven_by_David_Hofmann.jpg
I beg to differ. They come from the same genus (corvus) like Rooks, Western Jackdaws and I think the same family (Corvidae) but they're two different species. Crows are about the size of a pigeon and their taxonomy is completely different from the Raven.

I've wondered for years if they could be trained for wilderness search & rescue...perhaps combined with a strap-on GoPro camera to find lost people.
pinz2022 go pro weighs too much for now. But if the technology advances and if someone manages to train them that way.. then yeah it'd be a nice addition.
Im positive he's a raven. Just from his vocalisations for a start.
Yeah it's pretty dumb to have a loud large audience... the crow might be thinking... what will they jump me when I put my head in there... hmm
XD
Either way, clever animal that was a bit spooked... I'm sure some people use this to dismiss the claims of crow intellect
he was scared......
Birdbrain
I’m just here because of Joe Rogan.
They kept distracting it with all their noise . They should shut up.
If I put a treat on the other side of a doggy door and put my dog in front of it he will get the treat. Wasn't impressed with this example
Except if you just installed a doggy door which your dog has never seen, and you make it only big enough for his head to stick through with a string connected to the treat, he’d be baffled
Farmers know how intelligent they are. They see them killing lambs that are in the process of being born, lambs that are locked up in sheds, sheep and lambs that are a little weak, etc. They are killing machines that need to be controlled. Deadly because of how intelligent they are.
hafpipe...We eat lamb why can’t they ? We are utterly ruthless and so are they. Mostly their diet is carrion and they provide a service cleaning things up. We show such a lack of respect to the natural balance of our countryside by managing it till it squeaks. Where I live all the buzzards “mysteriously”disappeared when the local farmers started a pheasant shoot and before long the seagulls moved in and became a huge nuisance. So I have to say quite often farmers are a massive pest that could do with their numbers being thinned out. Maybe we’d have less of the foot and mouth, BSE, BTB and any other disgusting disease they spread around the countryside while they’re heroically producing our food.
Not that impressive compared to the crow one.
AzureGhost Except it wasn't tho. Listening comprehension apparently isn't a thing anymore
