What bothers me is that no matter what, they will always be perpetually dancing around in the container even when you close the container and put them away
They do not start dancing until the vacuum is broken. Absent of air pressure nothing moves. CSA and NASA vacuum seal their food for size and shelf life.
It's amazing how we've come so far as a civilization! Imagine going back just 100 years and getting reactions from people about what we can do! Look there, higher than the sky, yet below the heavens! A nut in a can is shaking a can full of nuts!
And in almost ten years we've: Made more nukes than ever Sold more weapons than ever Had more environmental disasters than ever Have launched far less space missions Have entered a new cold war I think the can's bottom popped out.
Salt and suger like to stick to each other and other surfaces so it will probably not float around till someone breathes it in or gets it in her/his eye and if it does float around it will probably be cleaned up
It’s like when he plays with water and particles fly around everywhere.. it might seem to us like it’s dangerous but these guys are trained actors and have been setting this up for quite a while haha
This is where thousands of years of evolution and research has brought us... a 27 second long clip of some nuts in zero gravity featuring a bit of salsa music. I consider this a triumph for our race!
I got a masterclass from an Astronaut (André Kuipers), and they do work a lot. They work most of the time -minus sleeping offcourse-, and they just need to scramble some time together to look out of window. Also they are being watched most of the time, and they are having active direct communication most of the time, so it's like working with your boss.
We sure do. In fact, the Canadarm is the mechanical arm that was on the orbiters and currently on the space station. It's been key to all the shuttle missions and enabled the construction of the ISS and repair of Hubble. Also, Chris Hadfield
well, the reason why he cant just open the can completely is b/c if a nut gets loose in might get stuck in some wiring or electronics so the amount of silliness they can afford to do is small
I think it does, because the moment a UA-cam video hits the front page, the video goes down in the UK for almost a day while all of the servers are diverting to the USA. I have nothing against Reddit, I use it.
Yeah! I completely agree! It would be easily possible for a youtube channel to practically dominate at entertainment of silly and funny stuff if they where to do funny stuff like this to a more... complete extent.
Canada? Done throughout history? Well for one, they've somehow managed to not make the entire world their nemesis. That's quite a valiant accomplishment I think.
Here in Canada we are doing space the right way.... trust me this will save millions of lives in the future when ppl start freaking out while trying to open their nuts in space
What bothers me is that no matter what, they will always be perpetually dancing around in the container even when you close the container and put them away
I know right? Shouldn't they be all crumbles and dust by now?

@@equallywrong 😂
According to Schroedinger’s cat they will be both dancing and not dancing when unobserved
I love these funky little guys let them dance forever

I smiled and laughed 🤣 why? I don’t know 💀
Such mischievous nuts
Those nuts made us "getting nuts"...

umm..., what happens when the salt from the nuts gets away from the container, do they just float until someone breaths it in?, or are they saltless?
you eat it with the salty part of course, why would you strip it of it's salt?
@@basedmanwithstick2421 because the salt could fly into someone's nose and whatnot.
Well ain't nobody that educated to answer your question

Everyone knows those are Planters nuts even when they're blurred

I don't know why I love this but I truly do
I think this is the coolest thing I have ever seen.

The music really put me in the mood. Thanks Canada!
Mr. Chris Hadfield, you are a hero to us all.
Mixed nuts: exists
Space: You were saying?
They have an extensive air filtration system that catches small particles in filters.
M. Hadfield vos vidéos sont intéressants et amusants. Merci de prendre le temps de nous instruire et divertir.
Oui

literally all the videos i have seen they are goofing off
@@bp5ll god forbid they take like 10 minutes out of their busy day to film something silly
And this is why we all love Canada
I dont remember sending you up here, but its ok because he looks like a trained astronut
YES!! Thank you dear 43mojoe. I couldn't have said it better.
That's the best accomplishment Canada will ever have
This is why we went to space! THAT'S AWESOME!
Careful! They're ruffled!
Oh wait I guess that doesn't apply here
Jeremy Medina : )
I just feel like i would have non stop fun if i was in space
SPACE NUTS! So cute, yet..... deadly!
We sure do. In fact, the Canadarm is the mechanical arm that was on the orbiters and currently on the space station. It's been key to all the shuttle missions and enabled the construction of the ISS and repair of Hubble.
Also, Chris Hadfield
enter the nut void
so nice I watched it twice
Ok, my question is how did 2.1 thousand people dislike this?
most of them would be flatearthers and conspiracy nutheads
Has there ever been a snow globe in space...I imagine the snow in the water moving constantly.
you opened a can of Planters Mixed Nuts in space, that's pretty cool.
This is the equivalent of a shitpost but from space. It’s brilliant.
you're probably better off moving to space if you want to experience anything like this
Am I 'Nuts' for liking this video a lot?
“Hey dude watch this trick”
**throws food in air**
**waits**
**waits**
**waits**
Man i want to try these kinds of things out
It’s been a rough day- this was delightful
That's amazing.... not the floating nuts, the fact that Canada actually has a space program.
I had no idea that would be so interesting. I can feel the neurons in my brain foreign from exitment!
that can of nuts was so empty you could float even without being in space
We require more videos
yes we do. built the CANADARM which is a vital part of the ISS.
Canada, what a place. They made a country and no one showed up!
well, the reason why he cant just open the can completely is b/c if a nut gets loose in might get stuck in some wiring or electronics so the amount of silliness they can afford to do is small
There is so much room for activities in there
So interesting and funny! Thank you!
Lea Lippard : )
From the music, I thought this was a Napoleon Dynamite vid! lol
Christian Dixon lololololol
I think it does, because the moment a UA-cam video hits the front page, the video goes down in the UK for almost a day while all of the servers are diverting to the USA. I have nothing against Reddit, I use it.
Yeah, the Canada arm was really our peak.
It would be fun to hang around in space all day, in a station of course
Brought to you by Canada.
Mostly gas and empty space.
Has a small handful of solid bodies floating around in clusters.
I love Planter's mixed nuts! 😋
So if u smoke in space u could exhale the smoke at the right time then enhale it again ?
Those nuts were having a party in that container! 🤣
Did you see who made this?!? THAT'S THE BEST POSSIBLE ADVERT THEY COULD COME UP WITH "Canada...Nuts in Space" ?!?!?
In former Apollo Space, Velcro holds your nuts down.
Oddly satisfying.
As a Canadian, I am so proud of this video.
its 2:30 am, help.
was thinking about the can.....where does all this trash go? do they bring it back with them? Chris if you read this you are awesome (fellow Canadian)
I can't believe they let food with this much crumbs into the ISS
Someone should make a raquetball court in the iss and go nuts! Would love love to see how that turns out.
The definition of food is moving...
That is so cool!
That is freaky😮
You'll be surprised how many countries actually involved in space development of some sort.
Americans send another rover to mars, canadians figure out gravity with nuts
Is this just a video created whilst having lunch, or is it research on the Brazil nut effect in zero-g?
The nuts look alive so it must be fresh 🤣
It IS like they're alive... 'hey can we come out?' 'hey pick me pick me' 'we're just floatin around, bored' 'let us out!'
Wouldn't these contain to many crumbs and small pieces, causing potential issues on the space station?
freeballing has a completely new feel to it in space i guess...
you guys sure know alot.
Yeah! I completely agree! It would be easily possible for a youtube channel to practically dominate at entertainment of silly and funny stuff if they where to do funny stuff like this to a more... complete extent.
Yeah Mr Hadfield! Yeah science!
I love the editing! Did Evan do this????
Canada has a space agency?!
Another scientific discovery brought to you by Canada.
amazing soundtrack too! whats the background music thats playing? sounds like something from napoleon dynamite lol
I guess that I better not open my can of nuts in space.
its all fun and games till someone farts
Wouldn't the salt and smaller particles of nuts cause problems when it flies off?
thank you
Who else was expecting the video to be longer?...
So this is why Canada does in space, seems productive
Canada? Done throughout history? Well for one, they've somehow managed to not make the entire world their nemesis. That's quite a valiant accomplishment I think.
reminds me of the simpsons ep when homer becomes an astronaut and opens a pack of chips in space then breaks that ant farm and shit
Now for the important test -- what's a martini look like in space?
Here in Canada we are doing space the right way.... trust me this will save millions of lives in the future when ppl start freaking out while trying to open their nuts in space
That weirdly really cool....
Too short! Where can I find the director's cut?
That was nuts
*goes into space* plays with nuts, way to go humans
This is Canadian science at work.
Oh to be a *nut* floating in a container in *spaaaAAAaaCCCeeeee*
