Mini Walking Cane Sword from Scrap

Sorry but website with templates and plans is now down thanks to hackers and running costs.
In this video we make a miniature gentleman's walking cane or hidden sword cane from scrap wood and metal. Taking inspiration from a project seen on Tony's Customs (link below) I thought it may be cool to make my first DC comics inspired build, a mini walking cane as used by the Joker and the Penguin, Batman's arch enemies.

If you put the wood into a drill chuck and sanded it whilst it span, it would work like a iniature wood lathe. (edit) It would also be quicker, but remember to have a bit excess so you can saw off the unneeded wood at the end

A nail doesn't have enough spring in it and bends easily at this kind of thickness

I have to be very careful with guns and things these days on UA-cam, UA-cam doesnt like them anymore, even if they are toys sometimes. I will make a crossbow this year though.

I haven't to be honest. My morals are slightly caught between two places. On the one hand I don't think that some of the videos on UA-cam should be there, or be monetized for their potential to cause harm to others. On the other hand I think UA-cam has double standards and is too strict some times. There is a fine line between entertainment and danger. That is the only reason I have not chipped in.
