La gente rimana attivi tutti i giorni. Loro fanno paseggiate e esercizioni, quindi no ingrassano.
In Milan you shuld all go to 'il massimo del gelato' it is incredible. You can go there at midnight and there will still be a huge queue and the ice cream is amazing. My favourite flavour in England is mint choc chip but you almost never find mint in Italy. They have every flavour possible other than the best haha. Every combination ad type of chocolate, most fruits and nuts you can think of. In Italy the best flavour is mandarin. Ice cream in the Czech Republic is surprisingly good. They do the best ever strawberry icecream. I was never a fan of strawberry, probably the biggest let downs in comparison to the fruit usually but in Czech it is great and I thought wow a super nice strawberry for once.

In Sicily you can also ask for a "brioche" instead of cono or coppetta (brioche is not the "cornetto" they intend in northern Italy!)

@@camilla3219 non hai capito, in Sicilia c'è proprio un tipo di brioche specifica che si mangia con il gelato e soprattutto con la granita. Si trova anche al nord ma è una tradizione tipicamente siciliana

io mi ricordo un favoloso gelato ai frutti di bosco preso a Ponte Vecchio. Mi è rimasto impresso dopo tutti questi anni. Confermo quindi il gelato a Firenze è il migliore.

Qui, a Colombia, abbiamo la stessa maniera di pagare il gelato… mi piacciono i gusti di caffè, di nocciola, mandorla e di mele… c'è un posto buonissimo per il gelato qui e si chiama Crêpes & Waffles, vorrei sapere se lì i gelati sono come quelli italiani, non lo so, pero dirò semplicemente che sono molto buoni.

Non mi e paciuto molto mai i gelati, e so che non dovrei dirlo :D ma occasionalmente ne mangiavo. Quando ho voglia per i gelati, prendo gusti come nocciola o nutella, senza il motivo grande :)

La prima volta quando che sono andato in Italia, ho assagiato un gelato vicino alla Basilca di San Pietro che è stato sorprendente!

The gelato in Italy is very good. .....but.....we stayed in apartment for two months, and the little town where we stayed did not have gelato shop. We had gelato in the larger cities close by. This being said, the gelato/ice cream in the grocery stores in italy is just okay. Not horrible. The U.S. has pretty good grocery store ice cream compared to other countries.
Ive been learning Italian for a longer time, it's my favorite and the most beautiful language in the world....
Btw., where is Katie from? She doesn't sound as a native Italian... I'm just curious :)

So, I just heard you say, .....when you moved to Italy...." Where are you from? I really like listening to you speak Italian- nice voice and you're doing a great job. Ok, I looked at some of the other comments. Someone said you're from Germany then someone else said England. Doesn't really matter I guess, your Italian is very nice.
That interests me as well, because I caught somewhere that she's English and she doesn't seem English at all! Like, I cannot imagine hearing her talk with an English accent. To me she looks more Polish and it wouldn't surprise me if she's German. Either way, her Italian look fluent to me and she does a good job!

Cioccolato e bacio :-) anche se poi non disdegno la stracciatella, il pistacchio, l'amarena, la nutella... comunque se il gelato è cioccolato, bacio o nutella, la macchia è assicurata :-) ma dovreste provare il gelato alla ricotta che è buonissimo

La nostra lingua noi stessi per padroneggiare le basi al meglio passiamo almeno 8 anni per fare tutta la grammatica perché l'italiano è molto difficile propio per la grammatica,però se si fanno dei corsi dovresti riuscire a padroneggiare anche in 5 anni con un buon studio.
Our language ourselves to master the basics at best we spend at least 8 years to do all the grammar because Italian is very difficult for grammar, but if you do courses you should be able to master even in 5 years with a good study.
But remember every language it's difficult at the start but after studying and a lot of working You'll be able to master the language and it will seem as if you always knew it.

Le gelaterie in Francia sono quasi buone come in Italia, quindi i miei gusti preferiti sono anche la vaniglia e il pistacchio, solo nel cono. Trovo che in Italia sia molto importante non comprare il gelato in centro perché soprattutto costano troppo. Devi andare oltre per comprare un gelato un po 'più lontano dalle aree turistiche. Sono anche molto bravi ma le persone sembrano più amichevoli.
Che il gelato in Francia sia buono quasi come in Italia non credo proprio. Non siete capaci di farlo, spiacente ma è la verità.

What city is that? Because when I studied Italian, they told me to use "voi" for "y'all", and here they use "Vi" and also in this video they use "pero" like in Spanish and not "ma". Hmmm
'Vi' is a direct or indirect pronoun, as in the phrase 'vi chiamo dopo' or 'vi scrivo domani'. 😉 And in Italian we use both 'ma' and 'però'. 😊

I'm sure someone has probably asked this elsewhere, but isn't the use of "Tu" a bit forward? I know this is changing in Italy, but I would have expected a young person addressing older complete strangers to use "Lei".
I’m from Italy and I was born in the 80s and I can tell you that most of my peers prefer to be addresses with the informal tu than with the formal lei as it’s something that make us feel old . Esoecially if done by younger people . I hate when they call me signore or they address me with the informal lei and talking to people my age or younger and older seems like they hate it too , so if you say tu it’s a nice way also not to make feel people old. I’d use the tu with nearly anyone if it was up to me
