- This video I would have wanted to find two years back when I was looking for a 6-hole adjustable punch and wondering which is the best option for my needs. (I was using pocket rings back then.)
I did my research and bought the Vaessen Creative punch and made a video about it.
But then I started wondering if I really did the right choice in the first place and decided to order the Rapesco punch which I have seen many use.
Now in this video I compare those two punches and give you my opinion which I think is the best one.
I also show you two hacks that have helped me to make the Vaessen Creative punch even better.

Thank you so much for making this video! I have the Rapesco, and I just remove the entire bottom to empty the confetti. Buuut I use an A5 ring planner and punching holes for it is a hassle 😩 Might have to put the Vaessen on my wish list!

It would be so nice to have one perfect punch option - but at least I haven't found it yet. Please let me know if you find it 🙂
Do you think the 7mm margin would disturb you with the Vaessen?
@@Katiplans I actually think the 7 mm margin would be nice for my A5, as it's got 35 mm rings 😮😂
Oh, yes. The bigger the rings the smaller the problem with a big margin 👍🏼
I too think it wouldn't be a problem then - if it's just okay with your insert layout so that nothing important gets punched away 🧐
I made a template for the rapesco punch so I line up my pages the same.
Oh, a template is a great idea. Is it to help you to use the paper alignment stopper or how does your template work?
