Our back yard looked pretty good before this mess began. The farmette behind us had a lot of diseased and damaged trees along the fence line. Two of them fell during the last storm and the city told the owner of that property to remove the trees. Three weeks ago (July 5th) they started taking the trees down and removing the wire farm fence separating their property from the 7 houses that adjoins it on the east side. They worked a few hours and then disappeared for a couple of weeks and then returned last week to take one more tree down. During the process of getting the stump out they pretty much tore out a large area of our lawn on our side of the property line. It's a mess back there and looks pretty trashy for a neighborhood of this kind. We are all hoping they get back to work and finish the job so we can get our lawns back in acceptable condition.
