Wonderful tutorial! I did mine in Procreate and think it turned out great! Thank you so much! I’ve been trying to find a good tutorial on painting scales and yours was perfect! Did you use a reference? I was wondering what type of fish this was.
Hi, how are you? You are one of our earliest subscribers. I remember you. It has been a long time you did not make any comment. Hope things are going well with you. Thank you all for your love and support!☺
@@PaintAcademy i am happy that you remember me. Winds of life and change took me away for sometimes but whenever I watch your art, I feel better. I feel like my old storm has just over , 3 years, and i am now still terrible, not as happy as before. But i am glad you are still here welcome me back, as Art always welcome human. I want you to know that your artworks and youtube channels are meaningful others, to me.
Bravo! I really love that fish!! Couple of question if i can ask.. - What measure of brush (and is sintethic or natural?) the rounded big one that are you using in this video? - The white used for the higlights is guache or watercolor? Sorry for my curiosity but i am a beginner and want to learn 😉 Again a very very big BRAVO to you.. Ciao from Italy 🇮🇹 ☺️ ☺️
Sir? It will be very helpful to us, If you write the mixing color names while using those mixture of color. Or you can add them as captions. Then It will be very useful to understand as a beginner.
I tried to follow along but it was difficult. Some tips--if you put your video under "how to paint scales" usually one would assume you get some sort of direction. I would've preferred if you spoke during the video to explain what you were doing, explain the colors, etc. When someone is painting along with you their eyes are busy on their own painting, so it's hard if the video has no sound because I am constantly pausing to watch and re-watch because the artist isn't explaining themself, or when they're switching color, drying off, etc. With watercolors pausing is not ideal since they're fast drying. My fish turned out good but I won't be following another video in this style. Also the music was not enjoyable--maybe pick something current. Thanks!
Oreochromis mozambicus? Lovely fish! And a beautiful watercolor process
