I was 9 years old, my Uncle took me to this show. My dad was in Bryn Mawr Rehab center at the time, he got mugged on the street and ended up snapping his spinal cord on the curb after falling. Anyways.. This show was a much needed escape when i was trying to process all of that bullshit. Cant help but smile when ween is playing, love these fuckers.

Fun fact: Live in Chicago is actually the best of two back-to-back shows stitched together! Most live show DVDs are done this way, doesn’t make it rock any less 🤘🤠👍
...And a three night run after having not played Chicago for years. Those three nights were some seriously pent up fucking magic.

@@jon_e96 Yeah mate, this actual guitar. He wanted a 1972 D28 which I got for him and he sent me his. I didn’t meet him but he Skype called me and sorted it. What an awesome dude. Even the hard case is a treasure on its own. Covered in backstage Ween stickers from over the years. Super cool.

Prime "weird hair" Gener here. They should have played acoustic more often. Nice, mellow vibe that recalls the Dead in the early 70s on songs like Fool.

God I understand why ween will purposefully not play a song when it's requested now. This is one of the most annoying crowds caught on tape
well the thing is, they would often ask the audience "what do you want to hear?" and they'd play it. Not so much anymore, but it was very common back in the day.
