Had 5th row tickets in Springfield IL on September 15th for Kenny Wayne, they tore it up!!! Im a huge Stevie Ray Vaughn fan and Chris Layton was playing drums at that show as well, it was unbelievable!
Saw these guys last night, my third time seeing them. Absolutely blew the doors off the place. He covered the standards from KWS band catalog, played a smoking cover of King Bee and closed it with Voodoo Chile. They're really a great live band, and KWS has now surrounded himself with some of the very best musicians around...Chris Layton SRV/Double Trouble and Tony Franklin on bass. Awesome.
The show in Albany NY on 11/17 21 was really great! Thanks for coming to Albany. It was great to see them play at Northern Lights in Clifton Park NY in 2000. Couldn't believe they played a small venue where I grew up!

awesome song! especially if you're driving. excellent driving song. i gotta say the day i bought the cd i was driving on the freeway home and i got a little rambunctious next thing i knew i was doing about 90 mph. felt like the duke boys in the general lee.

Amazing guitarist, songwriter, amazing tone and style. Of course Srv was great...and Kenny learned from many older blues artists and takes it further with great songwriting where there is huge variety in their tunes. Noah sings amazing stuff, the whole band is completely top notch on cd's and in concert. Very interesting tune. Tons of Albert King, Srv, Hendrix, etc., in Kenny's playing with the added bonus on rockin intensity and energy :) Great tune. I play this tune with my band and it is a blast!!

A random record played -''butterfly' on radio2 (bbc radio2 uk) and it stopped on me in my tracks ..from then i've been on you youtube etc friggin love this band ,never heard of them before great great track and a superb vocalist , the major pain in the arse is they played in the UK only last week and I mist them by 3 days....o'well shit happens!

Back in 1997 Kenny opened the concert for Van Halen 3 and the opening song was blue on black in Fort Worth TX I was only 8 years old at the time and I was there with my father
he blew van halen out of the water. i didnt go to see kws but i was ready to leave after he played voodoo chile.
