I actually filmed this video one year ago when I went to visit family and became an aunt! I was reluctant to bring a Smart Doll with me while traveling on a plane, but I did it--and was even brave enough to take her out of the bag to get some photos and video clips! See how Juniper made this trip--which included a lot of boring waiting and working--a lot more fun!
This video was inspired by my friend Theri Ppoi's dolly "capsule wardrobe" videos that she made a while back!

The standing in the airport shots are so cute! Was anyone with you to help keep a look-out? I would have been afraid that a stray luggage cart would mow her down, haha. The shots were totally worth it! The photos came out great. Congratulations to your brother and sister-in-law! I bet shopping for baby clothes with your mom was so much fun, hehe.
Side note... nice pouch! lol ^^ how appropriate that you're using it to store doll clothes!

I enjoyed this so much and “I can’t turn down a ribbon”. I literally just told Magical Girl Kit Kat that I save all my ribbons. 😆 I only buy Christmas ribbon that I can reuse for sewing or as tree filler. ❤️

I completely understand what you mean about taking your doll out in public. I brought my two Smart Dolls out to Mackinac Island with me a month ago and had them sitting in a bag where their heads were popping out so everyone could see. I could definitely feel all the stares, but it was comforting that most people were just curious. I just told them that the dolls were my photography models. :)
Your niece is so sweet! Congratulations, aunty! I love being an aunt. My niece turned 1 back in September. I know you’ll have fun watching her grow and learn. Maybe when she’s old enough, you can even introduce her to the amazing world of dolls!
I am proud you challenged your self-consciousness and got your super cute airport shots and plane footage. I would I find that really hard too- I don’t have a doll yet and I have kept this interest to myself but also as an adult you make me feel more assured about being ourselves and loving smart doll! I know how you feel about taking pictures of your doll when out and about. I used to carry a Barbie doll or three with me to do photo stories with and I only had her out for such shenanigans when no one but my children were about. You're braver than me taking photos of your smart doll while in the airports and on the plane.

Your footage of the landscape as you rode to the airport reminds me of the area around Sioux Falls, SD! I’ve been there a fair few times, mostly because I was born in the town of Marshall, MN which is about 45min to an hour away.

I totally understand the awkwardness. I compare it to wearing my cosplays to a convention. The first time I went, I wore 1 and it was a really simple, street clothes one. Now, I'll wear a different one each day, even if I'm taking the bus to the convention center. And on my recent trip, I had no problem pulling my Smart Doll, Estella, out whenever I saw a photo op (unless it was raining).
It looks like the hotel I stayed at somewhat by the convention that happened that weekend

I am waiting on a delivery of 4 little girls also ! No not quadruplet real 👶👶👶👶 babies ! But Darling Dolls just ,well ALMOST the same ! And no not the ADORABLE SMART DOLLS ( 🙀tooo expensive for my budget ) YAAA ! The UPS ❤️👍GUY just “DELIVERED “ my ADOPTED DAUGHTERS’ WELL two are mine , two are my real live daughter’s ❤️ ( got grand kids ANYWAY 👵🏻❤️🙀😺😸😻) I know they are DOLLS !
