Without a doubt this was the best event I have ever attended!! The map, objectives and bots gave an incredible atmosphere to the event!!! I had a lot of fun playing, and got those 3 kills at 15:01 XD thank you for making the event and i look forward to participating in more events like this
These custom map videos are great! Really helps show off what the WT community is capable of building! Keep it up! Also props to whoever made this custom map, very epic rendition with the bombardments and map events. This poses a question though: Would it be possible to try having big lobbies like this play custom made vehicles (some of them are really high quality) and their respective missions? (Not experienced in that area of WT). Could have some interesting battles/missions that way.
Felt like the germans should already be in the town instead of still pushing towards it. They could have a lower number of players in their team to compensate

Im reading a book about the spearhead division in ww2 after the normandy landings and the panther was one of the shermans worst nightmare unless they were in a pershing which was better suited. Btw I loved this video, i wish I could've participated if I had the vehicles for it
I see a distinct lack of smoke shells being used. Allies should have been putting those down all over the place to facilitate getting off the beach intact.
Can we have some aerial view of event ? It's good to see it in FPS or TPS, but i really loved the video with drone view, or global view. So much more intense to see all the battlefield advanced and firing. Thanks for this video and the event, it was really amazing to defend this town from USA.
They can easily pen the sides of panthers, they have less than 40mm of side armor. In real life, Sherman's actually had a positive kill ratio against panthers, at least on the western front.
I can tell you, in the second round, America surely hade air superiority, at one point, we turned on smoke so we could see who was who, and only 1 or 2 planes where enemy

Another great video! I saw this suggestion on your last video, but I agree: I think you should go back to your old style of using the playback to spectate the match. I think this video would have been extra amazing if you could see it from overhead! If you don't want to because it's too glitchy/ laggy, I understand though.
Unfortunately because I actually participate in the matches now I don’t have access to a spectator file anymore which let me see everything. The replay file I have sadly doesn’t but I do love playing with the participants now. I’ll have to think of a way.
In the third round I accidentally shot at a friendly aircraft. From my perspective in my P-47 I thought it was a hostile German aircraft flying towards me, I later realized that it was a friendly aircraft flying away from me.

When comunity driven events are miles better than whatever gaijin has every done, just do a caloboration with players and make good game modes already instead of copy paste 3 cap borefest
Was this even a "true" simulator battle? IFF Markers(Blue colored name) were on, so everyone can ignore the IFF process when you see any tanks (that you must identify visually to see if it's friendly or foe), And some of them still had "camera on barrel", which is default in Realistic battle but not in Simulator battle. So the dudes without the option "Camera from tank gunner" or something, the mechanical offset in close range can be ignored- giving them clear and unfair advantage. I think you should redo this session... Proof 1: As you can see, some of the dudes in Shermans had no "true aiming" and instread, still used the same cam settings as the same as realistic. 1-1. Thus, Muffins' cannon barrel was very easy to get shot, which is EXTREMELY hard to do in close range, especially for the ones who did not experience at least 20+ matches in Sim or just enabled the "Cam from tank gunner etc" all the time and used ro it. 2. Friendly marker is on. This really deletes the reason to play this mission in simulator mode. 3. Just found that you were able to see where the enemy is in Minimap. wow...
I don’t know why the blue markers were there when putting it in simulator mode and good question about marked enemies on the map. Maybe it was a glitch with the custom map that was created.

Realistically the Germans really only had tigers and lightly armoured vehicles because they held back the heavy weapons like the panther
