He seems a genuinely decent lad. I wonder if I heard a little polite dig at those that abandoned us there too? It's just possible that free from injury and a 20 game stretch of matches consecutively, we might see a side of Junior that we haven't seen so far. Here's hoping.
So nice as players learn more English/get more comfortable , they can articulate their personality so much more. Wish him all the best, I’ve said some harsh words about him but forget how much he must have gone through mentally. We’re on a positive vibe at the moment in this club, hope it extends to him and his journey ❤
Nice words and sentiments. I've criticised him too but some players need a pat on the back rather than get moaned at. I wish him well. He has his chance to shine in the championship tonight starting against Rotherham 🤞

It is easy for people to talk bad about players performance. They should listen to these interviews. I know that they are paid well, but they are people. He always looked like he was trying. It can't be easy dealing with injury worries.

For all my reservations about him as a player, he seems a really good bloke.

Lets hope the step down will literally give him confidence and a step up in form etc, junior certainly improved under Gracia , mentally them both been Spanish must have helped. Dan James has kicked on so im sure Junior can, if he doesn't hes no chance if we hopefully return to the premier League.

At “this level”.. so I am recognising that we aren’t judging if they are good a premier league level.. people at beginning of season had every other Tom dick and Harry starting over DJ.. people have been screaming we need a LB.. some even dreading that he will be starting for us.. I expect Firpo to be solid
@@maher39maher36 you don’t understand the point being made.. at the beginning of the season a lot people had every other winger pretty much ahead of James.. so yes words should be eaten.. we are not in the premier league now and our evaluations/expectations of players should adjust as such
And to say he was terrible when he was played out of position 90% of the time when we had El Loco is also revisionist history.. we have not seen him in a proper system yet in the premier league.. but that can be discussed when we actually are back up

How many times have we been told by these so called journalists who claim they have inside knowledge that Firpo doesn't like the English weather and can't wait to go back to Spain? Now he comes out and tells us the truth and shows these so called journalists up as just telling lies based on their own thoughts with no contact with the actual player they are telling lies about?

This was a soft interview, bullshit about messing around in training and fashion sense .. WTF .. should be given a grilling for his poor performances. Overpaid journey man.
