Just bought the C3 version from you know where. The lever for angled cut is now on the left side, below dust button and the laser plastic can be tilted now, no need to remove it. It is the 1st jigsaw that i use, i made a few nice smooth cuts. The laser helped, because i am too lazy to use a pencil 😂. Can't wait for the version that replaces the blade with a cutting laser 😈
mine is also a little different. angle adjustment is now done by removing the dust tube and then using an allen key attached to the power cord to loosen two screws. saved them a lot on production cost probably. either way, still the same functionality. the angle isnt analog tho here, there's indentations for specific angles. say what u want about parkside but for the occasional use their tools are the best value, sooooo rich in features. obviously dont go using this jigsaw for hours daily.
I have this jigsaw, really do great, i cant find any problems with it (in working), i do however find that its design is not really that practical. Its big, its heavy, and you need to have quite stady surface from where material is to work with this one. But in over two years i have it, never had any problems. Its fine tool.
Thanks for the review. I have read the comments and I have noticed that's not the best tool to cut straight lines. I will try to find a circular saw instead...
Found guide roller on the garage floor after 1st use , had swept up the floor so don't know how the roller was secured ??? how can this be fixed back on ?
I bought the PSTK 800 A1 and it seems that its successor the PSTK 800 B2 have the same problems as the PSTK 800 A1. The laser is useless, because both jig saws cannot cut a straight line. They always drift to the right. Parkside's jig saws are rubbish.
I have this Jigsaw for almost 2 years and i have use for very little. I found it very difficult as even it has laser pointer and putting a guide it never cuts straight lines. Even a professional carpentrer couldn't cut straight lines. I am very disappointed from parkside. If you could give any advice i would be grateful.
i have dewalt ,since 2002 model ,700w, i have bought it after burn out 2 cheep jig saw,And know what? i have pay 300 euro that dewalt and its still working.I think its cheeper that way
Uno de los problemas que tienen las sierras de calar Parkside es que con la zapata de goma protectora que lleva no corta a escuadra. Pruebe a quitarla y dejarla en el chasis metálico. Esto facilita el cortar mejor en línea recta. Un saludo.

Lynne I have the same problem but only with the 3 wood blades that are on the case, the metal blade locks with no problem. And I think the problem is because the wood blades are thicker than the metal blade! Did you find a solution?

Thanks Andrew for the effort you put. ... You a master of parkside power tools. ... I guess if you can find a way to suggest lidil marketing department to make the tools more available Some people see your video and want to purchase but when to reach the outlet they can't find! Maybe they have to wait a year or so. As for me I'm waiting so long for some machines. ... sometimes because of my work i can't reach or maybe my budget ! I'm dieing to to buy x 20v hummer drill / impact drive x 20v or air compressor! Is there any hope? I'm not going to be big mouth. ... i used to work for big brands and make shortage of an item is not a good idea! They use this strategy in fashion or new release just to hit the market . ... but not in med range items. ... Thanks again and have a great weekend
Well let me say how it works on lidl They got one company that it's manufacturer those tools and they do that for all the stores in Europe & other places in the world let me say if they manufaktur A thousand cordless Drill they will send many of the drills in the big City in a big country with many stores of lidl you are living in the small City or in a country let my say, they will send less quantities of tools and less models of tools. In Germany lidl stores the got of plenty of models tools . In my country Lidl stores are not so big and that the reason They are not sending more tools me and my friends were wondering why but it is obviously the reason that I already said big market area more tools small market Les tools. Thanks again for your kindness and for asking and you have a great weekend
You are very happy but cannot cut straight ... laser pointing right of the line... ps the sound volume of the video should ve been cured/normalised so that the viewer does not need to toggle it every time the noise level pops up

The guide in my set was bent so I never used it. Thanks to you I realized this and straightened it. It look weak if it bends so easily.
Parkside tools are great, excellent quality.

What’s the maximum thickness of wood it can cut?
Really helpful, thank you.
Maybe I am wrong, but I saw that the laser beam was some mm, away from your cutting line.

yes that is correct is for small projects
@@TechGuruAndrew you can adjust the laser
you can adjust the laser
I assume any jigsaw will drift without a fence. I found some very useful videio for making a fence here.

Same feelings laser is useless only the light is ok and is getting hot after 1 minute working :(

Use a circular saw for straight line and pendulum action on jigsaw

hi how square is the cutting in this Jigsaw
@TechGuru Andrew
Why my jigsaw, same model, has such a strong vibration that it bumps back, hard to cut, near to impossible? Any suggestions?
Do you clamp the wood?
Can you please answer why I cant mount Lidl saw blades? Only brown ones, its written CLEAN WOOD. Quick release chuck cant lock that saw.
you can't mount parkside saw blades?
@@TechGuruAndrew yes, only brown ones, it's written CLEAN WOOD on them
Nice job I have buying just today from Lidl store and your video help me out thank you

Laser only for fantasy hahahaha love you guy
Like the safety boots :-)

What's your opinion between PSTD 800 B2 vs PSTK 800 B2?
It has to do for what job you need that,i like more the PSDT
HELLO, can you put out the blade please ,l can't , l put on, it is ggod ,but to put another blade it is impossible,
thank you .
I can't get the blade to stay locked, any ideas? ,
You need to bush it all the way in

Found the testing incomplete. You failed to determine if the angle cut was accurate.
I've bought one but it's impossible to lock the blade.

cutting is somewhat slow. my hilti 850 would cut that piece many times over while parkside make that one pass.
thanks for video. cheers!
Goran Marinic you are comparing professional tools with hoby tools

thanks for that i will fix it on next upload.
too bad the laser on mine is way out of whack, 5 to 10% slope
oh wow u just teached me u can adjust the laser with a screwdriver
Very good
A jigsaw is meant for jigsaw cuts....anything else it will struggle.
