Glad you enjoyed them and hope you love the ride! The power of the Explorer ST is amazing. If you want to take it up a notch look at a cold air intake or ECU tune ;)
I just received my 22 Explorer and thanks for this video. I was wondering if there is a way to save a FM station in a spot where there is a Sirius preset. They have a mix of presets which is annoying if you don’t want/like Sirius.
I wish, that would be a pretty great feature! The screen has an auto mode where it changes it to a nighttime mode when it gets dark out. You can lock it out to that night mode permanently or you can lower the brightness if you find it distracting The media screen does support Android Auto but it's a wired connection
for the windows rolling down with the key fob, I've heard other people say that double clicking and holding the lock button will raise them. Is that correct? In the vid it says it's a manual raise.
There are some Ford vehicles where Remote Open and Remote Close are available - however that's not the case for the 2021 Explorer ST. Only have the option for the Remote Open as of right now unfortunately
If you've got Car Play enabled it'll default to your phone navigation! You'd have to disable Car Play to use the factory nav... But if you disconnect Car Play you'll still be able to make phone calls, look at texts etc
Hmm... I don't believe that's possible. The one setting that might allow it would be Audible Feedback. Settings -- > Vehicle Settings -- > Audible Feedback
Climate Control seems to be missing from Sync 3 on the 2021? Am I correct? It was included on 2018. So now voice command to lower temperatures is not available.
With the upgraded tech package that gives this screen there isn't the option for climate on Sync3. If you have the standard screen that doesn't come with the tech package climate control is still there
The underlying tech is different so there most likely won't be an option from Ford to go from Sync3 to Sync4 - you'd need to look at a new model when that screen is available in the Explorer lineup
My radio in my 2021 Explorer ST won't save XM stations to "direct tune". It'll save AM and FM stations but the "enter" pop up window does not appear when trying to save an XM Sirius station.
@@CarsWithSteve I have a 2022 ST with the massage seats. Do you have to have the 10.1" to control the massage seats on screen? Or is that possible to do on the 8" screen as well?
Thanks for great videos, picked up my 2021 ST yesterday!

That's a peeve for a few people but it's really easy to overwrite those stations! Hope you enjoy the ride
Yea I might not be old enough to drive but this is my dream car it’s such a amazing car and I just wanna drive it right now
Nice! What color would you go for?
Start up a side hustle to get you ready to buy it when you're able to drive!
@@CarsWithSteve I’m thinking a red would be a nice color
@@cosmex08 It looks really sharp in Rapid Red - look at the ST Street Pack as well for those meaner looking rims
Does the huge display retract ? Or can you turn brightness way down for night driving ? Can you use Android apps on it ?

@@CarsWithSteve I see. Thanks for the clarification.
@@sinnamortai You're welcome! Hopefully Ford can just release an update to add the feature in
Is it correct when I use apple car play I can’t switch to regular navigation?

Do you know the screen able to play video if not how we can add it please?
Unfortunately not from the factory
What's the bottom on the bottom side of the screen do? A hard reset maybe?
Red button underneath the screen?
@@CarsWithSteve I'm color blind, but it's a button on the outside of the screen, it's long and skinny.
How do you turn the honking off when the car is on and you walk away with the key?
Hmm... I don't believe that's possible. The one setting that might allow it would be Audible Feedback. Settings -- > Vehicle Settings -- > Audible Feedback
No blind spot chime?
Nope.. just a light on the sideview mirrors

I own the 2020 Ford Explorer ST. When will I have sync 4?
The underlying tech is different so there most likely won't be an option from Ford to go from Sync3 to Sync4 - you'd need to look at a new model when that screen is available in the Explorer lineup
WILL SHALL SEE SYNC4 ON THIS SCREEN?
Hopefully for the 2022 model year. There's no way to upgrade the 2021 Sync3 to Sync4 because of the different tech used behind the scenes
Will the ford explorer st 2021. Get Sync 4?
Unfortunately not - 2022 model spec sheet doesn't include it so it may come in the 2023 models
Awesome! Thank you!
You're welcome, enjoy the ride!
pro tip : you can watch movies at kaldrostream. Been using it for watching all kinds of movies lately.
@Dante Kaiser Yup, been using kaldrostream for since december myself =)
@Dante Kaiser Definitely, I have been using Kaldrostream for since december myself :)

Direct tune is for changing stations.. Are you trying to save SiriusXM stations in your presets?
Is the display movable?
Unfortunately not! It would be neat if it could be re positioned or hidden though
everything is so beautiful about this car except this stupid screen XD
You could go without the tech package! It would give you the same 8" screen that's in the rest of the Explorer lineup
