It was Kakashi who told Sasuke during training for Gaara that if your chakra goes down to zero you will die. Now I realize that was foreshadowing of Kakashi's own death.

Yeah, That theme in beginning of the fight between Pain vs Kakashi is The Pain's Theme, is called Girei, the Sickest theme in all Naruto by The Way Imo.

The meaning of the theme words is so beautiful and strong especially to someone that knows pain backstory

@@foreighteen7797he stopped serving 5 star meals long before aliens. The war arc ending should have been far quicker, far less escalation to insanity. There was no reason to make madara so beyond sanity OP etc. No reason for the repeated evil guy comebacks etc. The entire war arc canon chapters feel like 50-80% padding because people were so hyped to finally see the story conclude so they milked the manga far too much with a gazillion twists.
@@XpVersusVista I agree that it lasted too long, but Madara being that strong at least makes sense given how much he was built up through the entire series as being unbelievably powerful.
Kakashi didn't acted by moving his head backwards on his will during that nail attack. It was because of Pain's pushing jutsu which he use to shoot the nail towards Kakashi. Kakashi did teleport the nail but not the Pain's jutsu away.

Beautiful death, almost standing up and not by an enemy injure but by exhausting his own chakra to protect his village. And he was the one who taught kid Naruto that you would die if you run out of chakra. Kakashi is the best!

I think it fell off halfway through the war arc in three stages:
1st: mountain-level jutsus being spammed with virtually no costs or risks
2nd: alien clan introduction
3rd: Madara-->obesity-->alien mama who's scared of other aliens

Pain is The Goat, he's The main reason Naruto is This great series, This is The Greatest written Arc in all Naruto.
Pain is not the “main reason” this series is great lol. He’s a great character but that’s simply hyperbole
The only reason the arc is even remotely compelling is because of the OTHER characters pain is interacting with and the whole journey with them to this point.
The main reason is the one and only Jiraiya
@@thatepicwizardguy nahh I’ll give pain his props. He’s not the “main reason” but he is a really well written character and a great foil to naruto. His “cycle of hatred” speech def shows naruto how hypocritical he was being IN THE MOMENT, and leads to naruto finding another answer/more conviction in order to find a better way forward by confronting his own hypocritical mindset . That doesn’t mean pain was “correct” but he was written in a way that exposed the holes in Naruto’s world view. Plus……he’s just dope asf and soloed an entire nation ….so he has the “cool factor” plus the great writing

The Pain Invasion Arc always put out Power Scaling clearly without Dispute.
Jiraiya is the man. He took down 3 Pains while gathering intel. Needed all 6 Path of Pains to kill him.
Kakashi even with a little more intel, struggles with 1 Pain. Tag team with Choza and Choji still lost to 1-2Pains.
If they had faced 3 Pains like Jiraiya, they would have all died there.
nah they nerfed kakashi here. Kakashi could kill 2 pain here but the writer want to save pain for naruto & 9 tail

But Asura Pain is nowhere amongst the stronger Pain. The Fat Chakra Absorbing one or the Summoning One both are more dangerous than the Asura’s puppet body.
Regardless Kakashi was fighting alongside with Akimichi Shitō(Ninja Databook confirmed Jounin), Choza(another Jounin), Choji plus reinforcements.
The results they delivered were pathetic. Kakashi death in this fight is undeniable.
If they faced off with 3x Pains, everyone including Choji would have been decimated.
I was just comparing the outcome where Jiraiya came up on top over 3x Pains. Pain had to bring forth all 6 paths of Pain to win.
Even Pain himself exclaimed, it has been a long while since Pain was stretched that much.

After animal pain, asura pain is the 3rd strongest of all the 6 pains, and im not trying to discredit jiraiya, but kakashi literally fought with the tendou pain who was able to destroy the whole village on his own, and jiraiya also had a lot of help of those 2 frogs who managed to put pain that genjutsu.

KAKASHI within first 3 moves analysed MAIN PAIN'S weakness..and came up with a counter strategy in probably..less than a minute..AND ALMOST killed him off with a chidori..HE WAS JUST UNLUCKY THE OTHER pain body ..blocked his attack..Otherwise he would have killed him...that's why pain hesitated to approach him in the end...DUDE WAS SHOCKED
It was incredible that Kakashi created that strategy so quickly to counter Pain, but to be honest, in 1 vs 1 Kakashi has no chance, which is why it is surprising that Jiraiya was able to fight against Pain's 6 paths.

Man infiltrated behind enemy lines and gave Leaf the most vital info before passing away.
You gotta admit that he can ba called to have faced the 6 pains alone within the enemy lair.
Let the folks gaslight him for what he has accomplished rather than getting all technical with the accuracy of the details.
He fought two pains, both which are extremely easy to analyze compare to the others. Had plenty of backup and they all still die excluding Choji. Good on him though.

As far as power is concerned he's the most powerful member of the Akatsuki. Itachi and "Madara/Tobi" are just extremely more illusive to kill like Orochimaru due to creativity, skill and intellect. But Pain is THE powerhouse of the Akatsuki. There's a reason he was chosen to be the front man.

My man kakashi used the last of his chakra to save choji to get the info to Lady Tsunade. He wasn't killed by pain but he chose to sacrifice his life for the sake of the Leaf Village.
I freaking love Tsunade, she is probably my favorite character. The way she comes out of her apathetic despair to give everything for the village makes me emotional every time.

It was a serious theory back in the day. Although I didn't support it, part of me was open to the possibility of him pulling a Palpatine during his brief stint as Hokage--that he was behind the formation of the Akatsuki, the 9-tails' attack, and Orochimaru's invasion all along, in some elaborate plan to become the supreme leader of the entire shinobi world.
