FAKE Day to Night Transition - Cinematic Lighting Breakdown

- Today, we are showing you how we created a FAKE timelapse look, transitioning from broad daylight to complete night time in just a few seconds.
We are bringing you behind the scenes of one of our latest, commercial productions for a Smart Sleep Mask. The production itself was with our favourite crew from Zavadventures and Zawadzki Zawadzinski and took 2 shooting days to complete. We wanted to achieve a high-end, commercial look so a bright and airy lighting set-up was crucial. We also wanted to create some impactful, creative elements - one of which was this Day to Night (or night to day) transition.

Glad it wokred out that well and we could really put our imagination to a real world test :) Next time we'll try to find gear matched with one app to just sit, chill and look how stunning it turns out after everything is automated. With snacks!
That will hopefully be possible REAAALLY soon! Fingers crossed. The app control would have been a game changer here for sure but still - doing it old school was fun and rewarding

Well done! The end result was great. Did you experiment with app control for the lights or was it just too much with the mixed brands?
Hey Chris! Thanks so much, really appreciate it! You can definitely do this with an app and it would be a lot easier but our Forza 300 duo were too old and then we had one 60 which we could app control and the Aputure so it was just not really viable 😂
