I tried so hard to get big bear mount but in auzzie it was almost impossible so I got a rock solid kinetic motor mount and a dyna true track stability system all great stuff
Ah yeah I’ve tried ordering stuff from Oz and it’s always tough to get it. Which sucks because y’all got some good 4x4 stuff over there. If you never seen 4wd24/7 check them out on UA-cam! One of my favorite shows. But I’m glad the true track and kinetic worked out for you, and haha yeah sucks when you gotta remove the pipe. It happens more often then not lol
Nice job boyz, I'm generally a freakin scardy cat to spin wrenches beyond oil changes and pegs and shit but bruh you guys give me confidence. Helllzzz yes dudes.
Stoked to hear that! One of the reasons why we decided to do a little install vid was to show that even out front of the garage on the floor you can get the job done. Just take your time and have fun. Also helps to have a little liquid courage and some friends around! Handle it brother 🍻
Time to get an expert opinion. I’m doing floorboards and a center stand on the Road King this weekend and I want to make sure that I’m prepared. The winter ale that I’ll be drinking is only about 7.2% ABV and they’re only available in 22 oz cans. How many cans should I need to do this job properly? Keep in mind that, expert opinion or not, any answer less than 3 will have to be rejected on religious grounds.
😂🤘🏽 well a beer per floorboard plus 1 while doing the center stand, that brings ya to 3. The last one is the celebration beer. That’s the one when everything is done you sit back and stare at your bike and all the work you did. So yeah I believe 4 will be enough haha Can’t go wrong with a 22oz 7.2 winter ale! I might need to pick up something similar! Cheers brother 🍻
Random question. Does the ‘99 FXD have longer fork tubes? If so, how long? +2? I know the Sportster has the longer tubes. Love your videos, I ride the same local places.
Did BBC change their design? The one they used to sell was aluminum and slotted for multiple positions to align the drivetrain…? I installed a similar looking one from Chopper Hauss but it was way to ridgid with a 117 motor and had to take it off unfortunately 😔
I think the ones they make for the newer dynas have the slotted design. Because I’ve definitely seen those. And that sucks the chopper Hauss didn’t work for you, did you go with anything else or just back to stock?
@@Builtonbeers I’m using new OEM isolators combined with the Sputhe stabilizer links. Had them on previously and wasn’t super impressed, however after replacing the isolators and heims I found that was my problem in the first place. Works phenomenal, even treating the bike like it’s a supermoto weekly on the “tail of the dragon”
Maaaaate from downtown down under Aussie mate Loza definitely a 6 pack of beers job
😂🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻
Beautiful Bikes!! Informative video. ❤
Dope vid boyz

Cheers from Prescott AZ. Nice putt from Vista to Barrio Logan. I miss the year round riding, I yearn for it sometimes. Thanks for the share!

I never knew I needed to drink 8 beers to complete an install like this! Don’t worry, I work on my bike for entertainment purposes only…😂
Truly built on beers 🍻

Did you get the typical dyna wobble before you installed this?

Thanks brotha! Yes the FXDX has 2 over tubes & a patriot spring kit inside.
