Bill Cosby stung the most. Grew up watching the Cosby Show every thursday. Damn.
I never thought that he was funny.
@@dhenderson1810 I didn't think he was that great, but his being outed was still a tremendous shock.
me too
I recall little Bill
@@dhenderson1810 as a kid I thought he was funny. And that's the thing. His comedy is very juvenile. But also knew beyond his comedy. Like fat Albert and his picture pages. As an adult I had already lost respect for him by the way he acted like he was better than everyone else.
I'm surprised Andy Dick isn't in this video.
Did anyone _ever_ respect him?
@@Akira625 Jon Lovitz hates him for what happened.
@@donaldkennedy9573How can him blame Andy Dick for Phil Hartman's death when Phil was killed point blank range by his wife.
Brynn Hartman killed Phil Hartman, not Andy Dick.
@@Akira625 You beat me to it.
Nobody wants Andy Dick, not even this list.
How isn’t Amy Schumer not on this? Then again she has to be funny to even qualify for this list.
Cope
1. Not funny
2. Gotta have respect first to lose it
Humour is very subjective.
They said comedians
She never had respect in the first place so she doesn’t qualify for the list lol
@1:30 Bernie once said “some nights I don’t go on stage because I already seen my act.”
Brendan is just happy to make this list.
How did Dane Cook and Amy Schumer not make this list? They were both caught stealing jokes and have done nothing in the field of comedy since.
Probably because they used that slot for Mencia.
I’d also put Hannah Gadsby on this list too
No one had any respect for Amy Schumer in the first place.
Dane’s still working. I can’t say I love everything about him but he’s talented and he changed the way comics build their brand.
@@aidankeohane3370 He's not working in comedy, he's lost all respect and credibility for stealing jokes. "He changed the way comics build their brand"?. You're probably the *only* person who thinks that. He's never been funny, except for the movie Employee of the Month.
My Nan hated Russell Brand when he was popular. So she definitely knew something was up with him
He's pretty annoying, so she's not alone. This is the first I've hard of his controversy, but I've never liked him (though he did have funny moments on The Big Fat Quiz of the Year).
6 million subscribers would disagree
@@ResinEssenceByCheri Whereas seven billion nine hundred forty-five million would disagree with them including me
@@ResinEssenceByCheri Just because you follow someone online doesn't mean you LIKE them. I follow lots of accounts that talks about various interesting topics while still disliking them as people. Joe Rogan is a crap man but I like to listen to his guest.
I saw Cosby on the thumbnail with an all black background and thought they somehow got him on Hot Ones.
Louis is still going and is just as funny as ever
Yeah and his standup is still on Netflix.
I guess I missed the Jim Jeffries thing.
It was a dickhead move and he wasn't that well known in Australia at the time. But I guess it worked, he now hosts his own show, "The 1% Club" and it's very popular.
Bill Cosby for obvious reasons. Also Carlos Mencia and Amy Schumer for stealing jokes from others.
I thought Carlos Mencia was a funny guy. I heard about him stealing jokes and that was his downfall I was like man that's kind of sucks.
Amy Schumer isn’t funny. Stealing jokes obviously didn’t work for her.
@@LadyKC67she also joked bout male grape n is a grapist herself
Amy Schumer was respected?
How could Roseanne be so far right but sing the national anthem like that? 🤣
Her far right views were much more recent, within years of her show being rebooted. They involved Israel, there's a UA-cam video about that. The National Anthem fiasco was long before that.
She is not far right. She just isn't an extreme leftist.
@@bigverybadtom, she's seen as far right because of her support for Trump and her racism + conspiracy theory beliefs (which, whether accurately or not, is associated with the Republican party by non-Republicans). However, she also ran for president under the Green Party and voted for Obama (according to her at the time). So it's hard to say where her views actually stand.
@@corvos3719 "Roseanne has 23 personalities. I guess one of them is a Nazi." Tom Arnold
@@corvos3719 There's nothing far right about seeing the world as it really is. And it's clear that liberals really don't care about poor people; they call them "deplorables". No wonder people voted for Trump; why shouldn't they? Obama gave us disaster.
This is kind of off topic why the hell did they ask Roseanne Barr to sing the National anthem???? 😂😂😂
To promote Her sitcom Surely.
Who knew?, Jello Pudding Pop was a metaphor.
Not even a simile.
Bill Cosby gets the top spot for actor, celebrities, and comedians Everyone lost respect for, well earned.
Wow. I was a fan of Russell Brand. Then I was like “I’m not sure about this!?!” Now I’m a fan again. He’s 😢an actual human, with opinions, feelings, good choices, bad choices…you know, - human being!
John Mulaney is the rare comedian who lost everyone’s respect but managed to get it back
Never liked Brand so not surprised at all the allegations against him. He always came over as a total creep and letch.
Interesting that Ari Shaffir was only mentioned in passing, considering he definitely lost fans (as well as his agent) after joking about the death of Kobe Bryant.
and drugged fatboi while his family was there
He wasn't mentioned more because he was and is irrelevant. Same goes for Kobe Bryant.
@@goodoldbubba6620wow, you could’ve just left it at Ari, but had to take a swipe at a dead man. Chef’s kisses on the effort 😏
@@carlthomas5307 And I'll "take a swipe" at an irrelevant Kobe or Lebron anytime I want.
@@goodoldbubba6620 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 funny……childish, but funny
What was up with that comedian at the end asking about Norm MacDonald? And who was that comic?
Bill Cosby. I saw him live in 1966. Hilarious. Then came the allegations and the trial and conviction. Very sad.
Amazing video watch mojo of comedians that lost people respect, fantastic job.
Roscoe Arbuckle should be number one.
It was terrible what happened to him cause he was falsely accused of murder
@@theamazingandtalentedblake8296 He absolutely was falsey accused. Sad story.
@@theamazingandtalentedblake8296 Oh, he wasn't falsely accused, he really did murder Virginia Rappe. He may have been found not guilty but people knew he was guilty all right. The O. J. Simpson of his era.
He wasn't falsely accused. He really did murder Virginia Rappe. He got acquitted, but like OJ, few believed his innocence.
The accusation was entirely true. Arbuckle got away with it.
I love Louis C.K.
I would say I lost a ton of respect for Jimmy Kimmel, Jon Stewart, and a bunch of these single minded late night hosts. Guys like Conan Obrien can stay neutral and relevant but these other characters are way too slanted it’s gross.
Amen to that!
Remember if you get too big women will start accusing you of things you never did
Half of these I've never heard of. Looks like I'm not missing much.
I was, among other things, on the speech team in college. I relied on Robin Williams and Bill Cosby for inspiration. I couldn't use their material, but I could use their mannerisms, like Williams' rapid fire delivery or Cosby's 'I told you that story to tell you this one' technique. Both techniques were successful for me. Even today, I'll tell a Cosby joke, but won't credit him and the joke will get laughs.
I was on the speech team from 7th grade all through college. Was once accused of stealing my material because I made a joke about how guys call each other names (this was in the 90s) and how you never hear women saying stuff like "Wassup, you water-retaining rhino?".
Apparently Paula Poundstone once made a similar joke where she said "Water-retainging _sea cow."_ Some jokes are universal truths and so you see similarities at times, but Amy Schumer's jokes were so blatantly plagiarized that I really think she should have been sued. DOn't even get me started on Denis Leary (that -asshole)-
I doubt every joke Bill Cosby told was one he invented.
@@bigverybadtom Obviously you have never heard his old stories from the early 1960's, when Cos was a standup comic. The 25th street bridge/buck buck/Fat Albert story arc is so detailed that it couldn't be anything but truth, but with that said, all of his other stories are just variations of those three stories, until his 1982 "Myself" performance.
@@The_Dudester *Himself
Like they say:
You can’t loose what you never had
I think it's wrong that Jim is on the same list as Bill Cosby and Louis CK.
A lot of these are like that its like ranging from offensive opinions to straight up rapists
11:09 who didn't see that coming. Well plus he's in the thumbnail
Aziz Ansari and James Corden are some examples that should be on this list!!!
Definitely James Corden. Because the more I hear about him the less I like him. Everything from the famous restaurant incident to how he doesn't even help his wife out with their luggage or anything when they're on a plane.
Not everyone y’all crazy for that take 😂😂😂😂😂
With this I would also list Amy Schumer, Andy Dick, Joe Piscopo, Rob Schneider and Michael Rapaport.
I read the book Bad Blood that explains everything that happened with Theranos and Elizabeth Holmes. It was such a mess. She also lied or didn’t tell her employees anything. And if they questioned anything, she would demote them or fire them without explanation. She could have created something great, but her own ego and ambition got in her way
Funny how you guys left out a lot of good stuff
Bill Cosby's courtroom outburst against district attorney Kevin Steele back in April 2018 is still hilarious to this day. 😂
What about Woody Allen?
What about him?
@@randolphpinkle4482 he's a comedian too and I think everyone lost respect for him too
What's the matter? He actually fell in love with his adoptive daughter. It's messy, but it happens. Then, Mia Farrow poisoned everyone against him.
@@bernardomello842 don't you think that's creepy?
@@bernardomello842 People got creeped out with no help from Mia Farrow.
uh, Jim Jeffries is killing it on Netflix and has a national TV deal
Even to this day, Carlos Menstealia is unrepentant. He tries to pass himself off as a kind of comic rap artist - deliberately "sampling" others. Truly pathetic. The guy doesn't deserve a single cent in this industry.
Idk if she counts as a comedian but what about ellen DeGeneres?
Well, everyone certainly lost respect for her.
7:33 and now we're back to people I don't know
How do you not know who Louis CK is? Did you live under a rock 10 years ago? Agree with you on the 6:20 marker, I didn't know who those guys were either.
Chris hardwick wasn’t mentioned
What did he do?
Well, for a "comedian", you have to start by, you know, being funny. And Hardwick doesn't even remotely qualify.
His ex-fiancée outed him for being an emotionally abusive creep and he’s been rumored to be a total sleazebag forever.
@@metalneck1979he was found innocent of everything though
@@MrPuzzles Cope
Surprised Dane Cook wasn't on this list
Keep feathering it, brother!
Chris D-Whatever-His-Name-Is: not even a good impression of Eminem. 🤔
Roseanne is so cute now! I love her new podcast 🥰
I'm surprised Jim Jeffries was on here.
Where is Amy Shummer?
Actually, having HollyWierd speaking high of you isn't something you want to be proud about!
Bill Cosby Be Like:
Zippity Bop, Pudding Pop
Kathy griffin didn’t make the list for some reason
Because she only pissed off Nazis with the Trump pic
That's because she's not really funny. Come to think of it, some of the others on this list aren't either. They're all just "comedians."
@@normanwhite6677 I think she's funny . You must be an uptight MAGA
Because nobody lost respect for her. The ones who didn’t like her statement were never fans anyway and the ones who were/are fans totally agreed with the statement she was making. My respect for her grew immensely. I only lost a bit of my respect for her because she apologized. Never apologize.
This channel has a left wing bias.
I did used to love Carlos Mencia i was surprised he was on this list because i was surprised anyone else remembered him
Bill Cosby wants to take up Boxing. He plans to have a Pre- mixed drink with every one of his opponents before each match.
And any opponent would knock Cosby out before the drugs would take effect,
@@bigverybadtom Just a joke
@@LJLMETAL I know. But I don't think Bill Cosby was ever a boxer in his career, at least not any particularly good one.
Don’t put words in my mouth, Louis CK is still probably the best stand up comic around. 😄
Him and Chappelle
Roseanne made a joke about someone. God forbid you make a joke about a Liberal.
Right? Free speech and comedy are only allowed to some apparently.
When it's about a harmful stereotype about a huge race of people that's what crosses the line? It's like someone making a "joke" at white people or any other race of people.
No she said something else that was absolutely wild (I think it was antisemitic?)
People like Roseanne crack me up when they whine about being cancelled.
Here's the thing about free speech: you say what you say, others get to react how they want.
If someone decides they want nothing to do with you because of what you said, that's up to them, Rosie.
She was only cancelled because she is a conservative, plenty of liberal celebrities say worse things but nothing happens to them which pisses me off!
Well put.
Yeah, sort of like what happened to the Dixie Chicks. Radio stations quit playing their records because of things they said and they whined about censorship.
@@normanwhite6677 Because they alienated their own fanbase. A boycott is not cancelling.
@@mrsjackbauer1 So true
I was a very popular comedian years ago but when people found out my true nature I was finished, both in Hollywood and as a comedian all together.
Hello, Mr. Allen.
Bill was puddin’ his pop where it didn’t belong
1:24 It’s Honduran, not Hondurian. There’s no such thing.
Russell Brand should not be on this list, especially after you list the "allegations" against him as the main reason for the loss of respect. Allegations don't equate to guilt. Seriously, you could have named several other comedians like people have in other comments. Thumbs down on this vid.
I feel like a few of these could really make a comeback with little effort.
Louis C.K. owned everything he did because it was consensual and they tried to turn it into a me too thing.
Russell Brand is in a he said she said situation so he has a right to innocent to proven guilty if they even have any evidence.
Rosanne Barr ….. lets just be honest here Valerie Jarrett is about as dark as a vanilla ice cream and yes she looks like Ari from Marky Marks rendition of Planet of the Apes
100%
8:41 now were talking
You know you can put everything in one comment, right?
Are there any comedians without sin?
Steven Rannazissi is not just unfunny also a major liar
Will Smack Smith should be on here
still a Louie CK fan. His comedy is exactly the stories the girls say.
Not "Everyone" cause my dad likes Roseanne and I like a couple so don't speak for Everyone.
I speak for myself.
Amy Schumer deserves a place on this list. Even though we can hardly call her a comedian.
None really. At this point, no one is perfect.
Don't count me in on "everyone" when talking about Louis CK.
Don't say everyone.
I still respect many of the ones you've listed on here.
Lou c.k. brilliant comic straighten up!
Jim Gaffigan would be very high on this list for me. Lost his effing mind. No respect for him anymore.
1:38 again who
Say what you want about Cosby but The Cosby Show is still a funny and entertaining show. Just remember that it wasn't just about him. It stars a fantastic cast all round. It's Cliff Huxtable, not Bill Cosby.
And Bill Maher also used the N-word in an episode of real-time with Bill Maher and was given a pass.
"Everyone" is a strong word...
yup
It's a figure of speech
I think very few people seriously believe Cosby is innocent.
@@bigverybadtom *DISCLAIMER:* *I'M* *NOT* *CONDONING* *ANYTHING* , but we all know he's not the only one who was having fun back then.
It's weird how Hollywood chooses to oust certain people, while pretending the rest of them are saints.
@@tizodd6 Not so weird when Cosby was such a big virtue signaler. In fact it was fellow black comedian Hannibal Burress who outed Cosby in response to Cosby's moral preaching. There are other people who have committed crimes in Hollywood, but few if any as egregious as Cosby drugging and raping so many women.
Lisa Lampanelli gave up after one bad heckler.
Saw her on "Celebrity Apprentice" one season.
She is a nasty piece of work.
Some of these people got killed off for dumb things.. but oh well most tour and stil do things. They have fans still.
Stay away from Shia Labouf. He's one of the Biggest Examples of the Term "Don't Meet your heroes."
Since when is he a comedian though?
He’s not a comedian
Because he's a cannibal?
Who would have Shia LaBoeuf as a hero?
He's sexy af
Bill Cosby and Louis CK
Jim Jefferies might have pulled some piece of shit moves, but i still do enjoy his comedy. Thankfully I'm one of those kinds of people that can hate the artist, but still enjoy the artwork if its good enough (the one reason I'm still able to enjoy kevin spacey movies. shit human being, but an incredible actor).
You know I am curious since you are a Spacey fan (as an actor obviously). Are you going to see any new movies he is in. I watched the trailer to Peter Five Eight and it looks like straight to video garbage. However if it turns out to be good are you going to see it despite what we now know about him. And if you are going to see it will you do it legally paying for it. This is not meant as an attack I am just curious do people who are fans of him draw line in the sand somewhere or is it always just about whether the movie is good or not.
@@justtocomment5848 a good question. Honestly I wasn't even aware there was a new movie coming out with him in it. The quality of the movie would definitely play a part but it will mostly depend on his performance in it. If the reviews are bad but his performance is good I'll probably watch it on streaming. If the reviews are good enough I might go watch it in cinemas.
I believed Roseanne Conner and Roseanne Barr were equal in morals, I was wrong.
I lost respect for Brendan Schub as soon as he opened his mouth. 😂 I love Louis CK regardless. His comedy ability is legendary. 🙏🙏
To see Michael Richards here, how the mighty have fallen.
I don't he fell as badly as that. It's not like he did something truly vile a la Cosby.
While what Cosby did was wrong, i grew uo watching the Cosby show as many did. And his stand up film "Bill Cosby Himself" was one of the funniest things ive ever seen. I would still watch that today. It is hard to think about him that way bc we did grow up watching him. From the 70s and on.
And he didn't sexually assault you so why worry about it. Lol
Never liked the Cosby Show but loved his standup and Fat Albert. It's hard for me to reconcile my experience of him with what he came to be known as. It's bizarre.
Don't Forget : Think Big ,Trust Yourself & Make It Happen
Avi Yemeni? You reckon people don't like Jim Jeffries because of Avi? Like Avi is some kind of saint?
Agreed. Jim didn't need to make shit up about Avi to make him look bad. Avi Yemeni does that all by himself.
Louis CK is back and bigger than ever and rightfully so. He's funny AF and owned up to his wrong doings, unlike others on the list who denied it.
I still love Roseanne. And Louis CK.
Jerry Lewis should be in the Top 5

Carlos Mencia once stole a joke from Bill Cosby, who would you rather hear it from today?
