I've watched all your videos from the beginning and I can honestly say this video shows just how much sailing and boat life is in your heart. Really is yelling. You guys are always happy but have to say you all are glowing
I’ve been watching your channel for a long time but recently decided I’m buying a Corsair 880 to live on in a marina and be able to load up and take some amazing trips with (just like this one) Anyway. Been watching this entire series and I’m convinced it’s a good choice, but you guys are in almost every promotional material for this boat 😆
Many years ago, my Dad, brother & I went fishing on the great Ok lake & the lake’s water level was so low that the lock just remained open. Our little bass boat just entered & left the lake at will, so different now that the drought was over. You kids stay safe, love your videos.
Ohio has an extensive canal system with locks, as well as a few rivers with locks. Last summer a group of us did a kayak trip down the Muskingum River and went through 2 of the locks. The unique things with the locks on the Muskingum is, they are still operated by hand. The lock master comes out and starts cranking levers to open the appropriate doors and hatches.
OK guys, you've got 142,000 subs. Since I'm sure we're all getting an invitation to your wedding how do you plan on feeding us. Just thinking out loud here. Keep the good stuff coming.
My sister and her family live in Port St. Lucie. So very happy you’re back in the water. 🌊 Honestly, you could watch paint dry and I would still watch. 😘🥰❤️ Love from the North North Georgia Mountains 🇺🇸
I just got to watch your video now. Been watching March Madness all weekend ! That was the most confusing description of how a Lock and Dam works that have ever heard but it was funny though 🤭 Boating and working on the Mississippi locking through was quite common ✌️💜🎸
We are happy you are back to the boating life!!! We can't wait to see your videos on your adventure!! We actually want to take our boat through your route east from St Petersburg Florida to the Bahamas sometime!! After I quit that four letter word so much! WORK!! LOL Love watching your channel!! You inspired us to move to Florida and boat more!! Thank you so much and give jetty a big hug!!!
Glad to see you guys back. I was missing your content. Alcohol stoves bring back memories. We had one on our Chris Craft when I was a kid. It has a particular smell from the flames,I will never forget.
Loved this one. For some reason it made me smile cause it felt like a pre-covid video. Been a crazy year and some of us need some free spirit long sailing! Been watching y’all since the ole pusher days. Keep em coming
Hey there - I see that Jetty was standing at the front door of her condo saying. Hey! I barked for my meal 10 minutes ago, where's my room service? Love you guys, maybe I'll finally get my boat, and get out there soon.
Great video. Haven’t been watching been busy. Glad to see Jetti has adapted to smaller quarters. I was telling a co-worker to tune in. Billy can fix anything. Fix a marine transmission on the Hook! Rebuild a diesel in the Cockpit. Awesome!
We watched for you while bringing the Albin 27 from Punta Gorda to Stuart, but you must have made it through the OWW before we got there. Hope to see you somewhere next winter!
To do the Florida loop right you have to include Tarpon Springs , Tampa bay, Venice, etc. Also don’t forget Everglades City and Little Shark river. Have a great time this is a fun trip.
I'm going to do a copy cat cruise! My friend and I were thinking about going to Abaco but I saw this and thought that looks cool. I've done part of it before in another boat. Live in NE FL, going to trailer to Stuart and get going in May on a Farrier F-22. You think 28 is small for a month, try two people in 22'! Glad to see you wearing your PDFs! That boat is bigger and heavier than mine but I have crossed from West End Bahamas to Lake Worth Inlet on less than 3 gallons (no wind)!
It would be nice if Corsair clearly published their payload for the 880. Farrier used to do that. "Weight sensitive" is a pretty darned subjective term. That being said, since you'll never be more than a few days from shore, pack like a thruhiker. Just send yourself whatever changes you want at another location.
Happy to see more on the Corsair, as it is about the size of boat we'd like to have. Question though - I've flipped through your "recommended gear" pages and can't find the straps you use on your sunglasses (the ones that look like they have a cork on them) - where'd you get those?
Two people fell to their deaths in Acadia National Park-Maine this week. Its no joke to take risks. 28 and 30 years old. Slipped on the wet rocks and will never go home. I know you guys took some risks there. Hopefully you will not take that same risk when the indications say their is dangerous conditions.
Awesome trip! We were in Sarasota on the same day as you, but we were traveling in our camper. Spent a couple days a Fort De Soto Park, beautiful place. Looking forward to watching your trip around southern Florida!
Is Sierra talking about the treasure hunter with the “mailboxes” on the back that was your old neighbor? I noticed that one in some of your old videos but didn’t see the mailboxes on the one she pointed out.
Sierra, about the plastic. You should look into how to transform plastic back into Diesel fuel. It's pretty easy and you reduce your plastic while filling your fuel tanks. 😉
So excited to be watching you on this journey! I’m envious...want to do the same thing! (Good trial before doing the Great Loop? This is my dream journey)
Dont bother... Ive lived in Florida all my life and was extremely disappointed when I crossed Big O 2 years ago when I brought my new to me sailboat home to Ft. Lauderdale from Cape Coral. Its brown, and dirty looking.. lots of places to hit submerged rocks on the Clewiston side. The ride up the Caloosahatchee is more interesting.
@@fredbrillo1849 I’ve lived in Florida for 20 years. 12 of those years in south Florida and I’ve still never seen Lake O. Maybe I’ll just do the ride up the caloosahatchee. I’m in a center console. Are there areas where I can go pretty fast? Or is it all idle zones?
Was just at West Marine and met a couple with an older version 31' of your boat on their way down to Baha from Alaska. Referred them to your channel. I asked how long it took them to set up....2.5 hours:)
hi im am glad your enjoying the corsair . i was bit by the corsair bug back in 2000. i just love my corsair f28 r .hull number 66 full stride.we will be in dunedin clearwater in april 26 to mid may on our windrider 17. we usally clean the bottom once a week before we go out on our corsair. i just got a scrub brush made by ryobi that is waterproof to make the job a little easier. used to just use scotch bright pads to get the growth off. lucky lift sailing and andrea frees you tube channel.
Awesome video. Very cool trip. Very nice cat also. I flew my drone at Myakka a couple of times. Video is on my channel. Always wanted to do that cruise on a boat. FYI...I did buy a 20' Bulls Bay CC. It's called Adventures. We have it in a slip behnd our condo at Yacht Harbour Landings in NPB. We look forward to seeing you guys on the water. Safe travels.
Hello, My name is Steve, I was over behind an island at Cayo costa, around March 13th. I am pretty sure I saw you guys over there. I was in a maroon Gemini 3000, sailing cat. Does it ring true, that it was you?
Hey Billy and Sierra, awesome trip, I followed you along the way on instagram. Have you ever done any of the canals and rivers in upstate NY, there’s a lot of locks. It’s part of the old Erie Canal system. Also, I sent you an email, did you get it?
Well here is a question that I’ve never thought of. That boat move so fast it like literally scares the P out of me. As it did Sierra also LOL. And I’m not even a sailor yet😀🤣. So if you packed it down with more weight would it move slower? Because that boat moves so gosh darn fast who cares if it moves slower. I would want it to!!!! Or would that mess up some sort of sails or the mast?
Let me get this straight, you two have been living together for several years, and now you need to wait yet another year to finally marry. WOW, where did you meet this woman, who is so patient with you?
Try BAMBOO CLOTHING! YOU CAN WEAR IT OVER AND OVER AND IT NEVER SMELLS! YOU STILL NEED TO EVENTUALLY WASH OUT STAINS, WHOEVER. ITS SUPER SOFT AND COOLER THAN COTTON.
I do not claim to be environmental but I have not purchased paper towels in decades. They really are a waste. When you do the loop there are stores along the route.
According to the statistics 50% of cohabitating couples progress to marriage, 10% keep living together unmarried, and 40% split. Woman takes the most risk during unmarried cohabitation.
I can settle this whole clothing thing. Really you just need bathing suits. The real kicker would be to have clothes you both could wear then you can kill two birds with one stone however I don't know if that's possible? But it's a thought..... I can settle the food situation too. MRE'S, you may not like them but there's plenty of calories and you don't need a lot of space. So really beer and MREs...All the major food groups & CARBS! Oh yeah CHICKEN to feed the GATORS in case you get in a tight spot! Love the video content was excellent, as always it's a little vacation from reality.....
Jetti is the star attraction, I think you guys have past your peak. Floating around Florida is pretty boring.. why not Explore and try to push less product and more add more substance :)
I've watched all your videos from the beginning and I can honestly say this video shows just how much sailing and boat life is in your heart. Really is yelling. You guys are always happy but have to say you all are glowing

Sierra's smile through out the video says it all ... be safe, Tim and Cat
It was great seeing you today in boot key, Marathon. Hope you guys get chance to come check out our boat ☺️
My sister and her family live in Port St. Lucie.

28 days, small boat, lots of beach cookouts featuring fresh seafood. Looking forward to your voyage.

I'm not well versed in this stuff and so I really enjoyed learning about Locks and seeing your experience with it
Saw you guys yesterday at Boca Grande. We were the two couples walking with the pug. Been watching for years.
Glad to see you guys back. I was missing your content. Alcohol stoves bring back memories. We had one on our Chris Craft when I was a kid. It has a particular smell from the flames,I will never forget.

I Live in Mount Dora Fl,
Sailed the “loop” several times and bumped around the keys! Love it! Have a great sail!

I live in Eustic if you ever need a crew/sailing buddy.

wow awesome, I never knew that route existed! I wish I lived in Florida and not cold NY State LOL. Looking forward to your month adventure!!!!
But down South we're all jealous of your gorgeous summers!

Never considered this. NY has the Erie Canal. This looks so very cool.
I couldn't catch what y'all made for dinner, bad hearing, Penne... something. Looks yummy! Have fun on your adventure!
Congratulations and Best wishes to you both.

The locks make agricultural Big sugar etc possible as well as raising the water enough to use the water ways with a boat, looks great 👍 have fun
Channel is fairly tight, turns frequently, and if you go out of the channel ROCKS. No sailing on the big lake!
Wonderful video. It was like going off on the trip with you. So campy. I'll be watching every minute of the trip. Say hi to some Pelicans for me.

I'm in north ft Myers fl if y'all are heading to captiva lmk I'll meet you out there and put you guys on the fish. Been watching you a couple years
When you hear the engine bog running out of gas shut it off, you don't want to run the engine dry especially a 2 stroke.
I just completed Florida loop it was fun
Have fun, be safe and dream of the new catamaran.
I didn’t that 30 years ago
From Louisiana to sheepshead bay ny
You should be able to sail on the lake
Is Sierra talking about the treasure hunter with the “mailboxes” on the back that was your old neighbor? I noticed that one in some of your old videos but didn’t see the mailboxes on the one she pointed out.
Your boat is the best!!!! you too are ultra experienced by now. ps: alcohol stoves are for display only. ..just kidding.
Jetty is ready,,,,,,,,, Mini Loop.
You should maybe get your dog a pair of sunglasses like bowling Brandy did just a suggestion. Cuz the Sun is bright
Its not the plastic bags. ITS THE UP SPEAK.
So when do you get your new catamaran
I live in Fort Myers, I’m totally going to drive my center console up to Lake-O this summer and see what it’s all about.
Dont bother... Ive lived in Florida all my life and was extremely disappointed when I crossed Big O 2 years ago when I brought my new to me sailboat home to Ft. Lauderdale from Cape Coral. A Corsair 880 is a trimaran, not a cat
Heeeeeeyyyy! Missed you guys 😃
Never knew okeechobee waterway existed 😳

Has there been much passing interest in your boat since you got her ? Stay Safe & Fair Winds from Ireland !!
Is this boat your new boat? Or, a temporary boat till your new one is ready?
Wondering the same thing!
Temporary loan for a few months
You guys want to buy a very well kept 31UC ?
Full-on stoked for full-on cruising mode lol.
when are you guys getting your new boat?
TRIMARAN ??? WOW
What books/charts did you use to plot your course?
Lotsa gators around there. Keep yer eyes open. Have also seen a few swimming cows.
Hey Billy and Sierra, awesome trip, I followed you along the way on instagram. Have you ever done any of the canals and rivers in upstate NY, there’s a lot of locks. It’s part of the old Erie Canal system. Also, I sent you an email, did you get it?
any news on the new boat and did the old one sell yet

What did you do with your camper rig?
I could imagine that you have been missing the boat. 👍
So is the wedding ceremony going to be on the new boat? Is there going to be a less furry version of jetty there?
One year away. YaHoooooooo
Love following you two. What is the status of your new boat?
Need a 25hp on there .
What brand and model, size is dinghy?
Can you take a boat like that up the Swanee river?
Are the discharging into the St. Lucie river. Last time I was there it stunk.
Not significantly. Hasn’t been much rain
Jetty going to be the flower girl?
okay, i did not see any fe-tah on that list sierra!!????
$328 at Publix equates to $220 at Walmart!
A big BS to you.
Let me get this straight, you two have been living together for several years, and now you need to wait yet another year to finally marry. WOW, where did you meet this woman, who is so patient with you?

Jetty didn’t help stow the supplies. Bad 🐕 dog
When will your new boat be done?
January
First South Australia
Throw the hat overboard. lol...
⛵⛵⛵⛵⛵
All this time I thought you two were married.
Stop talking and help her carry those groceries...lol
👍🎶🎈🏄🏼♂️⚓️👙👀🏝😌!!!
Billy, just admit to us you’re a massive Beastie Boys fan. The truth will come out sooner or later!
He's too young to know who the Beastie Boys are Lol
I see bananas. Watch out?????
easy explanation for a lock ....an elevator for boats...
