Hindus can eat meat, some hindus don't, mostly depends on which part of India you are from. Hindus generally don't eat beef so they sell chicken burgers here. Other than that they have vegetarian food too..for example Bengalis like me eat meat, but some other people like gujaratis are generally vegetarians
I used Big Mac meals as a medicin once for over a week. I'd eaten something somewhere in Mali that made me lose appetite and thus ate very little in Senegal, Gambia, Mauritania, and West Sahara, but I knew that once I reached Agadir I'd be able to get a Big Mac with a large Coke and fries! After more than a week of this I was cured and able to eat the much cheaper roast chicken elsewhere.

you wouldn't understand it but this ad shows a crude stereotype of my people, bengalis(the red and white saree, a stereotypical accent), so you can at least expect them to eat a LOT of fish...
@000266617 : McDonald doesn't sell beef in India, so that point about cows consuming corn doesn't apply. However I do agree that since McD, Pizza Hut, Dominos', etc. have hit India, obesity has been sharply on the rise.
i know what you are talking about, Indian people need some good quality of education thats it , coming to your burger because of population (low wages, competition,etc) production cost decreases, if you go to China the cost even lesser...

But poor they no longer are as they are very efficiently climbing the ladder up, having a vision and cleaning up their act. Alot of europe governments inckuding uk are doing deals with india because their economy is better than most. No country is perfect whether it be urs or theres. God bless mate
