Woww so happy that you enjoy Thai food. Honestly if you go to higher rated places for those dishes, I am sure you will enjoy it even more. 😊😊😊❤ You could ask us - Thais for the best places for those dishes.
Thank you so much for this great summary of places and food!! Even as a Thai i get overwhelmed about all the food choices in BKK. The Pad Thai almost looked like Korean Ramen Noddles, i have to try!! Thanks for the tags under the video, but I find adding a map with location into your video would be even better- so we get a sense what neighborhood you r in.
Hi Joey, yes it's a good idea to cook the white first and I have been doing it for a long time. It's so basic,,, because I thought of the result that l wanted, coming from my own thinking 🤔 Ahah . I also recommend taking out the eggs off the fridge before cooking, at least 3o min. Have a good one, bye bye
Wow that was a long video. Hope you don't mind my critic, I know you are striving to be the best travel food vlogger out there. So I hope you don't mind me comparing you to the king of food vlogging Mark Wiens, you got the visuals and food tasting down great. Only suggestion add more back story. In school we learned a good story covers ( who, what, when, where and why) In Marks videos he does not just cover the food, he tells the story of the people doing the cooking, history of the restaurant shop. How they got here. Ya i know it not always easy to get the owner to let you in the kitchen and sit down and talk to you. Enjoying your videos!
I am always up for criticism don't worry, as long as it is constructive. You are right, I need to make them even more watchable, or at least find different types of video depending on the target. This was a compilation so difficult for story, but it is aimed to be a food guide for visitors. Others could be more story telling docs too.
I have slightly different views. In my opinion, I believe that you have definitely done a fabulous job and your videos are simply masterpiece, Joe. Covering 33 dishes/places to eat in 1 hour and 31 minutes are not easy. To cover all the food, the history, the back story and so forth, you would defintely need the time and duration as of the "Harry Potter Movie" in order to achieving that. I have watched some of Mark Wiens's videos also but I don't think that he has covered more than 10 dishes in 1 video, so he can dig into those food details and back story. However, I believe that your intentions and targeted viewers are for visitors who are not acquainted with Thailand and who may be simply lost or do not really know where to start if they want to eat and to experience the local food exquisites/cultures. So you want this food vlogging to be more like a Food Guide rather than a Food Documentary, which I think that the concept is brilliant as you get to the point instead of beating around the bushes. You have also separated the video of each dish and shared ALL 33 Google Map locations (which most food vlogger usually have failed to do or did not pay much attention to this little but vital details) so your videos here is like a "Treasure Hunt" Map for us to track down and check-in too. Keep up the great work and take us to other UNSEEN places to eat. Subscribed to your channel already...Fab work 🎉😊👍✌💯
Moo Leng (pork neck-bone soup), a relatively new recipe but soooo good. Khao Yum Gai Tod (or Zap) - Crispy chicken salad. Gai yang (Issan style) with sticky rice and som tam. Mango with sticky rice (dessert).
Khao kluk kapi >> kluk means "mix" so yes, you hv to mix everything first and try to have every element in one bite then you will have all taste, sweet- salty- sour -spicy, in the same time. my favorite one too @@hungrytoexplore
Thank you for enjoying our Thai food, as you said there still a lot of another delicious Thai foods left here but it depend on that you gonna open your mind or not. it's not nescessary to be restuarant or follow a food guide just find some local go straight and enjoy! .
my pleasure! yes Thailand is full of delicious food, this isn't a definitive list, I have definitely eaten more than just this but I added everything I have filmed
Not only is this a luxurious version of Pad Thai, but it is likely also a luxurious version of a food stall due to the quality of ingredients and prices. As a Thai person, I must admit that I am not familiar with some desserts in your vid, except for the black sticky rice in coconut milk and the dessert that resembles a crown called Khanom Ja Mongkut. The others may be more elaborate recipes typically found in hotel kitchens.
you are right, they are Thai Royal Desserts I believe, so yeah, you do not find them everywhere. it is the first time I saw them too. but they are very delicious.
Hahaha I’m a professional eater 🤣. I spent a lot of time in Thailand on these trips so I got good at spotting a good restaurant - did you enjoy it all?

Ah! I decided to leave them off because as you know prices change over time and I thought this video will live longer than the others, all the main videos of this trip contain prices if you want to watch them and get a more in depth look of the journey. But all are great value 40-120 baht. A few dollars. Nothing is crazy at all
