The differences are subtle -however, enough so that the Alva seems more modern and younger. Something with the longer fringe and the cut and shape overall on the Alva seems to give it a more up to date look. ❤️
I wish they'd come out with a mono side parted version of Alva. The bang in Astrid is too heavy and the hair is too short for me. (Actually, I wish Alva were a few inches longer as well.) Ha! At least I always know what I want. Good comparison.
Totally agree with poster. My tallness would wish for just a tad more length in Alva. The cut is fabulous. First wig that ever really caught my eye -but I know Taz is a petite gal so this wig would run too short on me.☹️Love the depth of Sugar Cane R.❤️❤️❤️. Thank you beautiful Taz❤️

To me, this looks really diff than Alva, which might look a bit draggy on some cuz it’s so straight. Love the face-framing on this one. Alva is very Suzanne Somers, whereas this one is very Michelle Pfeiffer in Scarface! Kinda retro yet timeless style. 😀👍
Thank you for your comment! The permatease on the Alva wig has a slight pillowy feel to it. Not too noticeable, but enough to give it a nice amount of volume. TAZ I love all your wig reviews and comparisons. Keep them coming! They are very informative. By the way, you look beautiful in all the wig styles and colors. Not all of us can achieve that. I always like several of the wigs you have in the background racks with letters, but I can never tell which styles they are. It will be great if you could add in the description section of your videos the wig's names associated to the letters. That way I can go back to your videos to check the reviews for those wigs. Sorry, one more request. In one of your videos you mentioned that women that are showing the signs of aging in the face (sagging skin) will look better in wigs with layers close to the face. Could you make a video with wig recommendations? I have noticed I look older with my one length bob haircut, but my hair is a little wavy to cut short layers. If I do, I have to blow dry it every time. Otherwise, it does not look good. Stay safe and thank you for the time you take to do all the reviews for us.
