I just love this cute style! I’ve worn wigs for 12 years and this really looks like my Jolie style by Rene of Paris/ Noriko. Alva has up to date razoring. I had wispy bangs cut into my Jolie which is why I think they are similar. This Alva is a 2020 style! I can’t wait to receive mine! As always, thank you for the awesome review.

Noriko and Rene of Paris is highly underated in my opinion. Its a great wig.
I agree Tera! So many overlook them because they have a standard cap and lots of permatease, but they are gems! Some are priced too high, so that erodes the value a bit:-) XOXO

I lOVE this style...reminds me of May with bangs. I own a few May wigs and was able to cut some bangs. However I did just order this one Alva and excited to see which I like better. By the way this shade and cut makes you look like a teenager Love it on you! Adorable!

It looks so cute on Taz that I took a screen shot of the thumbnail and sent it to my mom. She agreed that she thought it'd look good on me, but went I went to online stores, it's not nearly as cute in their pics! I'm not nearly as pretty as Taz, but like her, I can wear lots of different styles, but I've got to be careful with undertones. I can't do golds at all. I used to think it was a golds, reds, ect until I realized some reds have cool undertones so it's not the colors, it IS the undertones! My face shape is slightly heart shape leaning toward oval and I've got a prominate widow's peak, plus I've got a 21" circumstance. That's why I rarely buy a wig if I've not seen it on Taz. Although, my opinion is that she looks best in cool or neutral colors, she can pull off warm tones. If I wear warm tones my complexion looks horrible, sort of ruddy or something. Just very off lol from my late 40s to early 50s, I lost almost 200lbs! I am very very apple shaped so I didn't know what face shape I had until I lost All the weight. At 150lbs lost, I still had a very full, round face. I was wearing size 8 jeans and an xl or 2xl top! Now, at 5'8" tall and 148lbs, I still wear l or xl shirts and size 4 jeans! I rarely wore much makeup because how fat my face was. I had uncontrollable diabetes and my face was always red. I wore foundation and mascara, nothing more. Now at 56 life is a lot different and I've got enough makeup to supply 20 women for a year! No joke! It's an issue, just like my wigs are! I lost my hair 3 times while losing weight, but its all grown back and nearly shoulder length, but I still wear wigs. I've got about 50, which is a small collection to real wig fanatics, but I'm single and on disability! I've got end-stage Ankylosing Spondylitis and I'm limited in what I'm physically able to do and what I'm rheumatologist approved to do. My upper back is fused and curved and my head is fused in a prayer like position, so I've got to consider that when purchasing wigs. Long, straight wigs without a lace front, for example, are out. They would just hang forward in my face if I could pull them back in a headband, clip or something. I've got Mega Mono that was custom cut (hairline) to match my widows peak and thats the only long wig I've got. I love it, but it's wearing out. It's funny the different considerations some have to make when selecting a wig!

As always, you look beautiful in this wig! It so resembles May with a bang. I cut wispy bangs in my May and it now looks very similar and I love it! I ordered Alva a couple of days ago in chocolate frost and it's on back order til March! I'm disappointed but am willing to wait for it. This looks like a great throw on and go wig that will not need much, if any fuss or styling. Great review Taz, thanks and stay safe.

I remember this review when you first covered it. Revisiting Alva. I love this on you and I actually really like the straight styles on you. The movement of this "hair" is so realistic. I think these straight styles look so youthful on you and to me you are the picture of youthfulness.! Don't know if I've said it before but you have the most beautiful posture and that is enviable in a good way! Now if I could just find one you did that was a shorter bob and had a very French girl look to it. It too was different for you but so cute and tres French chic!! Still enjoying all your great reviews and your smiling face. P.S. I need to try to remember to turn my volume down on my bluetooth feature that goes into my hearing aids. When you first come out and say "Hi welcome to Taz's Wig Closet!" It is super loud and I had to turn it off at first to keep from hurting my ears. After that initial intro it comes down a few decibels. Now if I can just remember to turn it down! 😉👍!

After watching your review, I bought this wig (Alva) in 2 colours - dark chocolate and deep smokey brown. Have not bought wigs before so wasn't sure what wig colours looked like but was advised that they are not the same as salon colours. Really looking forward to them arriving 🤩

I have this in sugarcane and melted marshmallow.. my sugar cane doesn't have as much highlight in it much to my dismay but the good thing about this wig is you can really see earrings so you can showcase your jewelry nicely

Hi Taz! I recently found your channel and I am so excited. I have wanted to try wigs for years now but havent felt knowledgeable or courageous enough, but you are helping change that for me - thank you! I have a suggestion - I subscribe to a home decor channel and the woman was constantly being asked about the brands and colors of her clothes, jewelry, makeup, etc, so she started putting all of those details in the description of each video so no one needed to ask. It might save you some time to do the same thing for each wig displayed behind you, like “A: Raquel Welch, Big Time in RL19/23SS; B: ...” and so on.

I love the style! She really does rock bangs! Has for quit a while and she is so beautiful and can she sing! Went back in the 70’s to her Vegas Show! My Mother and Dad and husband and myself! I had heard her sing at a New Years Eve Show and knew she could sing!
All they knew of her was Threes Company and when I said ... oh let’s go see her as she has a really beautiful voice! They all looked at me like I was crazy! NO REALLY ... SHE DOES!

Taz, as always, you ROCK this! I don't think I've seen you look bad in a wig yet. I love Noriko wigs, and am loving this Alva, but my head gets so darn hot wearing them. In fact, I was looking for airy wig reviews when I came upon this one. LOL! Still, I may not be able to pass this one up due to your review of it. It is most definitely my style and color. Hugs!

Your Videos for this wig Alva as well as several other wigs are seen on a site called Beechpear for extremely lower prices. You probably already knew this but I wanted to make sure you did. I was one of the dummies who purchased Alva.... Live and learn. The saying "if it sounds too good to be true" is an accurate statement for me. Love watching your videos !!

The sugar cane r is such a good starting colour I’ve noticed if you try a new style if the colour is wrong you can’t see past the colour to the style. I’m watching this one :)

Oh no... you’re keeping this. It’s gorgeous on you. Noriko is such a trusted brand for me. She’s always a sturdy tight fit on me (I bet if I shaved my head she’d fit beautiful) I cut the cap and put clips in. Really beautiful!!

I checked out the colour choice for this wig. I must say I'm impressed that they added pure white to their longer styles like this one. Not just for short. I hope they extend this colour to longer styles like other well known brands. 😊
