The Energizer came in two pieces just like this one in the 70s..
Yes. I couldn't remember when I made this video. I was reminded later that my Grandfather put it together for me so I never knew. LOL Thank you for the confirmation.

Great video, thanks. I wonder why they reproduced the energizer so faithfully but changed the look of the motorcycle so much. The faux motor and pipes for sure are nothing like the toy I had in the 70s. Perhaps because Evel was riding a Harley at that time the motorcycle design required a separate license they couldn’t get or afford?
Not sure. But the toy is as fun to play with as the original.
It's supposed to be made from the original molds. There were several different color schemes with the original as well. It was white and had black mufflers initially.
