I used to create 32 custom teams and run them through franchise mode. I’d play as the lowest rated team and build them up until I won a super bowl and then repeat the process with the next bottom feeder team.
I've thought about doing a worst to first series on the channel, doing the same thing as you where after winning the Super Bowl I'd take over the worst team and do the process all over again. Haven't done it yet but it sounds like fun!

@@egm_myles69 i think you have to save the team. then when you start a new franchise, you have to load that team. I could be wrong. I have to go to the game to find out and right now my ps2 is broken. trying to get it fixed.

heres a thing that happened to me though in Franchise mode with a custom team: so i played through the season with a cupcake roster (basically simmed most of it tbh) and ended with like a 2-14 record or whatever. I assumed that id get all 7 rounds for the draft like every other team right? Wrong. I ended up only getting 5 of the 7 rounds that every other team in the NFL got. Idk if its because i was a custom team, idk if it was cuz of a thing for new teams, idk but i was really disappointed. Yes this was in Madden 07
@@TheWildJeffrey I wanna assume it's cuz I tied with the browns as the worst record for the season (we both only won 2 games) but idk. I started a another franchise mode and got no wins but this time I got first in the draft picks
Great Video! The NFL/Historical logos will not show up the uniforms and other things for your created team unless you do the relocation glitch in Franchise mode.
Just bought a copy on my Xbox 360 since I don’t have a PS2 anymore and I just found out it’s basically a completely different game from the PS2 version :(
It's a completely different game on the PS3 and 360. I don't have a PS3, but I think you can play PS2 games on it so if you get a PS2 copy of 07 it should work.

Huh. I've made a custom team in Madden 07 several times and never had that happen to me. Hopefully you still got some solid players!

Absolutely. I think they're bringing in team builder in Madden 25, which is a lot better than the last decade!

It might not be there, the 360/PS3 versions of the game are totally different from the Xbox/PS2 versions unfortunately.

There's a create a player feature in the main menu or in the franchise menu
@@TheWildJeffrey Every time i make a custom player, it always forces me to add him to a NFL team instead of my custom team.
I think you can make them a free agent and then sign them, I could be wrong though cause I haven't done that in a while
The cupcake team on 06 has only one player in the 80’s overall but good video tho
I think the best player the CPU gave us was Tom Lang, a DE that I think was in the low 80s
