Hopefully the story doesn't do Jin woo dirty like boruto did with Naruto. I also hope his son becomes the monarch of something else. In the side stories for the original it's revealed su ho wants to be a brawler type fight unlike his dad so hopefully his powers reflects his fighting style.
Not a chance, he is even more broken as he is truly immortal now, meaning even if he is killed, he can auto ressurect himself on a whim, basically unkillable and much more.
He isn't on Earth but the edge of the Universe fighting the Outer and their armies meanwhile the story follows his son fighting and power up on Earth in order to protect it since his Dad is protecting the Universe.😢
His son can't because the Shadow monarch since well, Jinwoo is the immortal Shadow monarch now, he is fighting by regrouping the powers of the previous Monarchs instead.
@@carlososler7024bruh, that's literally how Naruto was portrayed when Boruto first started. He was still super powerful in the early episodes of Boruto but they nerfed the hell outta him later on. Ragnarok just started that's why I'm hoping Jin woo doesn't end up like Naruto later on since the outer gods want to steal his powers as well as the powers used to created this universe. If they do Jin woo dirty and have those outers gods steal his powers and have su ho defeat the I'd be pissed.

I'm just going to pretend this series doesn't exist until it ends, then quickly check to see if they killed Jinwoo off or nerfed him in some way or his son becomes stronger than him, I'm not reading, if none of those things shockingly don't happen, I'll give it a go.
I hate it when in stories their kids always take over, like I don't really care about them, I still care way more about their parent, who we started the story with and hate if said parent needs to get toppled from their top spot.

From what I've heard, his son is likely gonna reach the same level in the end, but it's probably gonna be done well, I mean jin woo teaming up with his dad was well done and we didn't even get much about him. If they have a similar fight near the end of this it's gonna be goated. As long as he doesn't die, and his s son gets his own powers and not just the same as jinwoos. But they already made his son more of a brawler in the side strorys before, so hopefully he stays as such
@@_aWiseMan as long as his son doesn't take over then I'd read all of it but I'd wait until it ends. I've read a random chapter where Jinwoo sends an "illusion" of himself over to help out his son and his still ridiculesly (in a good way) far more powerful than his son.
To be clear: Jinwoo is in space fighting gods, and his son is on earth protecting it from their pawns. Jinwoo will always be the shadow monarch, since there can only be one.

I read till the reacent chapter and trust me jin aint nerfed but made stronger. First poit is that they made him trully immortal and second, he is growing stronger as he is learning the powers of all the races he has as shadows

To think the story became like 10x better because Jinwoo wasn't the central focus and the author wasn't just ridding on his dick. Bro they made Haein an actual character for once with action that affected the plot in a huge way, they made other characters have their own scenes and dialogues and what's worse is they actually expand on the worldbuilding the story is Hella insane but doubt anyone will want to read it bc they just thinknits another boruto thing. Kinda glad tbh bc if more people get to it then more toxic SL fans will try to ruin the show for me

@@SirSeer no I used a website to read the chapters. When the last chapter came out it said that the series was over, and I was disappointed that it didn’t have the reveal of his son in it.

It explores more about the other monarchs, Jinwoo is not nerfed, the other characters are still there, there also are more characters like the children of the S class hunters, and also they go in different places like India, Egypt, etc.

Not going to lie, Solo Leveling started stronge and ended very trash , even by mid story, you can see the story was going downhill.
And to top it of his making a sequel?? The ending of Solo Leveling ended without any room for a continuation , so why is the author working to make a sequel? that doesn't make sense.
Spoiler, for everyone, that is unsure if to finish the story. First off, I'm not saying you should not support or not read/finish it. everyone has different tastes, buds . But let me just give a heads up:
Don't get interested in any side or introduce character, especially the MC father, mother, the Demon princess or the blond S rank girl, literally all them are they either get forgotten or tossed away for no reason except lazy writing.
The MC then calls all those other character his friends when he doesn't spend any time with them or little time, nor shows any interest in them, and his mostly hostile towards them.
Do not get interested in the world , the MC seems to be only interested in speed running his own story and doesn't give a fuck about the different words their purpose, origins, ect..... even when he met the "Monarc of the beginning" he ask about 4 question and then kills him when he sees and notice he had a rune on the back of his neck and wanted to kill all humans except the MC. The MC didn't put any effort in asking for more question or even do basic investingating. Why didn't he think of I don't know maybe try and get rid of the rune that was controlling and corrupting him or did some bullshit like finding a host for the monarch of the beginning.The author just makes them look like old generic boring dungeons like worlds with no purpose but make the MC a Saitama like character.
The ending I'N MY OPINION was just terrible and out of place a horrible 360 wrong turn type shit. The MC from the beginning was only interested in making sure his people and only his people are safe and ok and then out of nowhere he cares for everyone that died, even the ones that where evil scum bags and the ones that he didn't know or care they existed.
He decides to turn back time for 10 years and solo everything again getting rid of everything, hunters, mana, portals ect..... because at the end of the day, deep down the MC is a depressed 12 year old boy with daddy issue's that just wanted to live a happy, normal, basic asf life. (Keep in mind that at one point his all like "All I want to do it's raid, that's where I belong" to the hot garbage ending we got.
Everything you stated seems to be a one-sided story. Though it is your opinion and I can’t complain. But if the blond S rank girl you’re talking about is Cha Hae-in then you’re completely wrong about her. In the side stories she had a connection with Sung Jinwoo and they got married. Plus I believe her role was pretty big in most of the sections she was in. The only reason she felt left out was at the end when the last 3 monarchs fought against sung Jinwoo. I can agree with the Mc’s Mother she was tossed away and forgotten as well as the father who just appeared for a few chapters and perished shortly after.
The ending was also able to have a sequel and you would realize this if you read all the side stories. Sung jinwoo had a son who we knew would likely get his own sequel because of a few of the last side stories showing him training in a dungeon made by Sung Jinwoo. The last chapter also worked well in making a sequel by leaving the manhwa with Jinwoo leaving earth to the unknown and how there was some backstory. Not to the side characters but mainly the world itself. How there was a supreme deity that was very corrupt and liked to see war so his own creation rebeled and slayed him and how the shadow monarch came to be. Although I would agree the side characters should have better backstories and we should’ve known more about them, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t endless possibilities for the reader to make.
I am lowkey sad that we cant see anymore sun jin woo blitzing people or igiris and beru jumping people anime had a w ending, all the girls are top tier waifus, and hell sung jin woo is a top tier waifu
