@@4ss4ss1n5 that’s what I’m saying , you might not be on level of someone who gets paid to perform this, but you can’t really be considered an amateur on the piano when you can play a piece only probably 1% of piano players can play
you are a great pianist but sorry if you playing chopin you have to put your heart in the music and then its gonna be beautiful . big bravo for the performence but put more feeling to your music espcialy if its chopin
Well done bravooo 👏👏👏🌹 The Ballade No. 4 in F minor, Op. 52 is a ballade for solo piano by Frédéric Chopin, completed in 1842 in Paris. It is commonly considered one of Chopin's masterpieces, and one of the masterpieces of 19th-century piano music. Of the four ballades, it is considered by many pianists to be the most difficult, both technically and musically. It is also the longest, taking around ten to twelve minutes to perform. According to John Ogdon, it is "the most exalted, intense and sublimely powerful of all Chopin's compositions... It is unbelievable that it lasts only twelve minutes, for it contains the experience of a lifetime." In the preface to his edition of Chopin's ballades, Alfred Cortot claims that the inspiration for this ballade is Adam Mickiewicz's poem The Three Budrys, which tells of three brothers sent away by their father to seek treasures, and the story of their return with three Polish brides. Personally i like to listen the very beautiful interpretation of maestro Arthur Rubinstein.
Really inspired me. Can u imagine how much better he would have got, how far he would have been able to push his technique by learning such a difficult piece? One day he'll be able to play piece like this at full speed, and he'll be the one laughing.

Hi Paul! That was a marvellous performance, I really strive hard to reach the level to be able to play this piece. I have a quick question, I notice you often mumbled to yourself while playing this piece, I'm curious as to what that was! Were you counting? Singing the melody? Weird question but I like observing different idiosyncrasies in talented artists. Thanks!
Anyone who can play this from start to end, amateur or professional pianist, deserves a big Bravo! So you too!

No soul, just hands I can only hear.
There is soul.
Many rewarding efforts but lack of soul. But Chopin, s musique is so beautiful in itself!
He might not have fully memorised it or (just maybe) he must've been sightreading the entire piece? It's still pretty cool either way :)
