I think a better strategy for Arm Wars would be to just announce the release date and none of the athletes mention the actual day it happened on their socials. That way it will just be like a tv show, and people won't be pissed for waiting long times after the actual match because they won't know when the match happened, just know when to watch it.

Hey Neil, I know you like this format. I really think you should consider going live. Things have changed since the good old days. Now, with live streaming, people expect instant gratification. I'll give you an example. We all knew the event was on the 8th. We watch as all the fighters descend on Las Vegas, then the fighters release their footage. The momentum starts to build. Then we have to wait until the 28th. I like the events, and I will subscribe to watch it. This is just my opinion from a fan perspective. Thanks Neil

in 2024 where social media is king, this match was spoiled for me before i even knew it happened. I'm into Arm Wars style editing but if it takes more than a couple of days to upload the video your putting too much time into the editing, and tbh the editing often is too much, i have to skip parts because feels a bit dramatic and less professional sports.
Keep Members-only content in some form, but do big live events with superchats-enabled to make money during the stream and then make the event private until edited footage comes out and then unprivate the livestream full event VoDs
Mad respect to Neil and the community, but we gotta call a spade a spade here. Arm Wars in Vegas back in the day was awesome. In the current landscape of East vs West, King of the Table, Knuckles Up, Arm Gods, and probably the return of WAL, it's damn near impossible to stay competitive with this style & format of production. Its 2024, not 1994. Speed matters. Don't confuse speed with being sloppy, but it's as simple as where the masses are at. Regarding the aforementioned promotions and with people's attention spans, anything but live streaming matches is going go fall by the wayside, as there are matches happening more than ever when combining all the different promotions. I'm sure there are lap riders out there who wil argue what being a "true fan" is, but I've financially supported every promotion and PPV I've watched for almost a decade. I don't want freebies, and I'm not complaining, I'm simply being realistic.

After seeing Rino Masic lose to Matyushenko, I've got a feeling there's a big gap between these new young strong guys and the internationally active experienced seasoned guys. For that reason, i think Devon found a lane to win in.
