I had the honor and privilege to serve in Vietnam with black soldiers who were among the bravest and most honorable men I ever served with. After more than 50 years, I am still amazed at what they did, knowing the moment they stepped off the plane back in the US, they were doomed to second-class citizenship.

It's very true that we shouldn't accept the history teachings contaminated with pseudo Eurocentrism; but BEWARE of the newer history teachings contaminated with pseudo Afrocentrism as well. @@franklinkettle6853 I know it's hard for the younger generation to understand that everyone does not Google. There is a lot of information or shall I say non information or missing information on several black Indian tribes it is also hard to believe that the United States which was not owned by the United States at 1 time was actually considered to be 95% Indian territory and what was not owned by the Indians was owned by the British before they sold it to the United States who then went about taking, or bribing them with Treaties that weren't worth a d*** penny on the paper that they printed on Out of the rest of the land that the Indians owned. There was no Google no internet and none of that when I was in school so yes I am a retired person. In school I learned history and we also had a black history class 2 separate books in the history book there was never any mention of anything black people did or invented nothing according to them we were enslaved people and that's all we were but in the black history class we learned a whole lot of things that black people were born free or were able to save enough to buy their freedom some were doctors lawyers inventors and so on and so forth They were actually free black people as well as enslaved black people there was also free white people as well as enslave white people but they don't teach that anything anymore that's CRT now.. So if you are able to go with it I'm glad that you can maybe people will start to actually learn the truth about the United States and its government and all of its Presidents starting from President Washington

I had to know... Generation after generation God has been revealing TRUTH... I guess seeking it is also Spiritual and not someone everyone does.. it's absolutely a blessing to have 5 generations here... But to not have a foundation of truth and who we REALLY ARE... THE GREATNESS WE REALLY COME FROM that AMERICA has TRIED EVERYTHING TO STOP us from believing what are Spirits clearly keep us doing.. SURVIMG AND THRIVING... This will not negate the spoken and private agendas of these people or their lineages. In other words.
They need to be upfront about what happened with the "Truth" about it. The best way to find the path of forgiveness through REPARATIONS.

People from Africa were sailing back and forth to the Americas long before Cristobal Colon (Christopher Columbus). The Blackamoors ruled Spain, then known as Al Andalus, for over 800 years (200 years short of a millennium which is 1,000 years). King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella overthrew the Blackamoors during the Reconquista and then instituted the Spanish Inquisition which forced the Blackamoors and Jews to convert to Catholicism or be exiled or enslaved. In 1469, Pope Nicholas V passed the Papal Bull "Dum Diversas" which allowed Spain, Portugal, and other "Christian" nations to legally enslave the Blackamoors (also known as the Saracens), Jews, and any other peoples who did not follow Christ. Then, in 1492 Cristobal Colon (Christopher Columbus) set sail for the "New World" which he and the other Europeans learned about from the Blackamoors who ruled Spain. It is a complete and total lie that Cristobal Colon (Christopher Columbus) was trying to find a faster and safer route to reach India. He and the other Europeans learned about the "New World" from the Blackamoor kings who ruled Spain and other parts of Europe, because the Blackamoors and other peoples from Africa had already been travelling back and forth to the "New World" for thousands of years; going all the way back to the Ancient Egyptians.

    EXTREMELY EDUCATIONAL !!!
I use to hear my Grandmother, and my Uncle tell me that our People were in America way before the (( PALEFACES )) came & took our Land...
I grew up going to ( POW WOW'S ) that my Fathers Family had every year. I still remember the ""THE ELDER MEN"" getting together to smoke the peace pipe. And, they would drink the ""FIRE WATER"" what is strong corn liquor 🥃 !!
I have so, so, many wonderful memories from my Childhood where my Elders kept family traditions. The one memory that I have is all the Elder Women would spend all day cooking, and at a certain time everyone came together to eat at this HUGE FEAST !! This would go on for 3 days !!
All the ELDERS are gone to Glory. And our traditions are long gone. My generation did nothing to continue carrying out the POW WOW'S. 🤦🏾‍♀️
Now, our Children know nothing of our family members ways of having the POW-WOW'S....
This is truly sad, and I hate what have become of my family now. We are not close, we do not come together for the feast's, and our children know nothing of the lifestyle of our family ....
    Truly heartbreaking !!! 💔

My maternal grandmother side is indigenous, mostly out of
North Carolina. She passed along the family history before she passed away. We were always gifted dream catchers from our tribe/nation, stories about ancestors who owned land, farms and reservations. The ancestors never mentioned a slave story or transatlantic slave trade story. In our family we were always taught that we were Indian. Indigenous blacks were always in America and all over America too not just the south.
