I know Angels are unfeeling monsters for the most part, but I like to imagine that at 2:22 when Zeruel barely manages to put up his AT field before EVA-01 blasts him again, Zeruel felt afraid.

Holy shit i found it! 6 years ago I somehow stumbled upon this video, and little old 13 year old me was absolutely mortified!(For understandable reasons). now that ive seen the eva rebuilds I remembered this, and ive been searching for it for a while, and finally, I have it. Yay!

If you pay attention while watching the show/movies, you will heard people at NERV acknowledging the same thing but the military just insists on blowing money by tossing that shit at the Angels. But in some cases, conventional weaponry does serve to distract the angel or buy time until the Evas get there/set up so they're not completely useless.
The N2 mines on the other hand do seem to be somewhat effective.
It "helps" break down the AT field. It's the same weapons that Eva's have

I have never seen this version where eva 01 gets pierced by the lance before he starts 3d impact. Is this a directors cut or blue ray version I didn't know of?
It's the after the credits-scene in Evangelion 2.22, 3rd impact gets started then paused by the fruity angel man.

well a group of human called seele mad the human indtramanaty progecked to make this thing called the 3rd impacked but then made 3 eva's to complete it unit 01 00 and 02 then made the angels to kill the human while trying to trigger the 3rd impacked to elemenate earth
