    I was thinking heck ya that’s gona work mint but ow well never know till ya try . Talking back and forth on here and meeting every one at the shows is the only reason we still do UA-cam , definitely a lot of extra work but it’s worth it with all the friends in this community we have made .

    • @TCsOutdoors1
      @TCsOutdoors1  7 місяців тому

      It was worth a shot and I’ve got a couple modifications I might try in the future to see if I can make it work better. I agree, it’s all about the people I’ve been able to meet and the friends I’ve gained that make the UA-cam thing worth doing. I kinda lost track of that for a bit but I think I’m back on track now. Take care and I’ll talk to you later

    This is exactly how I split with my wolferidge. I load smaller 4x8 trailers but straight off the table! I do back the trailer all the way under the table. Glad I found you, keep splittin!

      Splitting into the trailer is great, definitely better than picking it all up off of the ground for sure.

    Good to see ya Tony. I understand what you are saying. But I'm here for you, and my notification is set, so when you post, I'm here regardless of the timeline. Family and chores are important. A conveyer would be great.

    Hey Tony, good to see ya in the woodyard. It's good to hear you talk a bit about burnout with the videos, I think about that myself as I seem to do the same things over and over. Since I stack the same as you, I don't mind the slash going into the wood wagon, I can sort any good kindling out, then haul the slash to the woods and rake it out. After splitting with the 12-22, I have to agree with you on the conveyor or get 2 or 3 folks to help ya split😁. That thing makes a lot of firewood fast, hard to keep up with by yourself. Take care my friend.

      Hey Bobby, I hope all’s well with you and the family! I lost sight of the friends I’ve made and got focused on trying to be something I’m not. I’m happy to back out making firewood and talking with everyone for sure. I’ll talk to you later brother have a great weekend!

    I hear ya brother! I enjoy making the videos but sometimes it's nice to not worry about the camera. I was wondering where you had been. Glad you've been doing well. Pushing into the wood wagon seems to work pretty well!

    Hello Mr. TC, You have been gone a while, but I can easy see you have been working hard, That is a formattable size rick or rounds you have there, the trailer is good to split into, save the throwing arm to toss empties in the trash, conveyors are good but they need moved often to max out the trailer or truck, I'll be here with you no matter what you are doing,

    A conveyor will drastic improve your process, however you can also get a longer sorting table from Eastonmade too. They had a bunch of them up there ready to ship and I don't think they are unreasonably priced. Be a cheaper option for now. Glad to see ya back man, I missed seeing your stuff. You always have cool stuff going on up there. Stay safe, and cheers

    Keep at it if you enjoy it. Do not let the channel become a job, easier said than done I am sure. Don't stress yourself out, just make a video when you want to. I follow your channel because I too have a 12-22 & do not have a conveyor either. Don't let making videos spoil your joy of splitting.

      I only have the standard 60” bucket that came with my tractor. I think It would fill up to fast and I have to keep running back and forth between the stack and the splitter

    100% on the conveyor. Have had my 22-28 for two weeks now and don't think I would like being without the conveyor. Just make the videos when you feel like it, you do a good job. I've made two videos now with my Eastonmade, check them out if you get a chance and tell me how to improve!

    Kind of wondered where you were…. Half the fun of working with wood is experimenting with different ways to be more efficient and still enjoy the work.
    Also, your family and your home are your first priorities, videos place second.

    Interesting video, I'd take a steel drum and quarter to stop the wood from falling to the ground, and roll the edges not to cut your clothes or yourself. I watched your video really close, I'm not impressed with your log lift having to reach across your splitter. I have a home made splitter self propelled and a swing boom like a mini log loader and having 1 block( round) to deal with, I took out the dead akle and placed car rear end driven hydraulicly, this last fall I bought a grain elevator and increased my output by 50 percent I'm not lifting or throwing splits in my dump cart the elevator takes care of it. You have a great machine but keep in mind that was manufactured to be sold, I built mine to process my firewood.

    • @TCsOutdoors1
      @TCsOutdoors1  7 місяців тому

      The log lift is a stretch for me but mostly because I’m only 5’-6”. It also made it a bit taller putting the blocks under the tires and stabilizer leg and that made it a little tougher for me to reach also. Thanks for watching and commenting I really appreciate it, take care-Tony

  • @buckinfirewood
    @buckinfirewood 7 місяців тому +1

    You simply need a conveyor to get that much wood away from you .. that machine produces too much in a short time

    What's uuuuuup?
    Neat little back up cheater. That's a cool stabilizing stand on the jack, option or standard? Don't think I've seen one yet. 2/10 in the rain gauge. With how hard it was coming down when I left the barn I'd have guessed more. Hope you're not working too hard in the heat. Doing everything hay related here except mowing it away.
    Idk where to look put poly sheets in the trailer would help a bunch, old boards not very slickery.

    • @TCsOutdoors1
      @TCsOutdoors1  7 місяців тому

      What’s up Brandon! Yeah that little magnet stick saves me a ton of messing around trying to line things up. The front stabilizer is standard, it makes the machine nice and solid while you’re working. Try to stay cool in this heat
