  • This is my long term review of the Sanabria bushcraft focused fixed blade by Cudeman Knives of Spain. Exquisite build quality and materials, with a few over built features make this knife a compelling option.

I own the Cudeman sanabria and a White River FC4 and the Sanabria is definitely more comfortable in the hand but heavier. The sheaf on the Cudeman Sanabria is beautiful and holds the knife securely. For the price the Sanabria knife will take some beating and I highly recomend buying for bushcraft & camping👍

I think this knife is a perfect choice for those who can't afford a whiteriver Fire Knife.
It has a lot of the same features and blade shape yet isn't $260 .
I own the little one and love it, I'd like to get the big brother so I can match them up together . That handle looks awesome , I'd give that grind a new convex profile and make it a nice slicer

I agree it has amazing value for the dollar, and yes this could certainly use a slicier profile which would just add to its capabilities. A matching set sounds like a good idea 🙂

Great review, I've just ordered one of these in black for an all round hiking/camping knife. Glad to hear your experience of edge retention to be good as it was something I was a lil concerned about. Can't wait to go give mine a go. Thanks for posting!

Thank you for watching Jay! I think Cudeman is one of those hidden gems out there in the knife world, fantastic value and quality for the dollar. I hope you really enjoy yours!

My smaller version sheath did the same exact thing yet i didn't wear mine at all. Something aboit that belt loop portion was not stitched properly.
Good idea to use rivets 👍

A little FYI according to Dr Larin Thomas the Moly Vanadium steel they use is simply 4116 cryogenically treated which is a great stainless steel in my opinion but there certainly are better ones out there however they definitely are able to heat treat it very well to get maximum performance out of it I compare it to say N690 if you're familiar with the performance of that steel...

Thanks for the info on the steel! I've been impressed with how well it's performed - lots of confidence with it.

I'm tempted by this knife, but I don't know if the blade is skeletonized under the blades, and in this doubt, I'm really hesitant.

I can’t confirm if the handle is full tang however - even if the handle is skeletonized I cannot see any situation where this knife would fail. It’s a companion knife, plenty strong for the uses it was created for and too small to be over stressed by heavy use. If this blade speaks to you then I think it’d serve you well.
