I saw someone commented about Jay's fall out with his previous boss, so here's little information. to sum up Jay's relationship with his previous boss. Around 2002, his boss had an investment failure and Jay voluntarily give his boss all his revenue from his album to plug the holes(Jay released the first 2 albums under him). While other Record Label tried to poach him at the time (for 200 million), he said he would never leave his boss and his boss openly said how thankful he was to Jay. Then on an interview in Beijing, Jay was asked the same thing, Jay repeated that he won't leave his boss, then the interviewer asked him does he not know his boss has already sold his contract to another large label? Imagine Jay's shock.
Basically, his boss sold Jay and all his music to another label for 400 million, while his contract with Jay was Jay holds the ownership of all the music he makes. Jay did not know that and when his contract with the new label was up, he tried to leave (because the new label treated him like cow, Jay has this generic Ankylosing Spondylitis, so he needed to take dozens of pills every day and painkiller shots to keep up with his schedule) but he then just realized all his music up until 2007(including “I’m very busy” or “on the run” album) was "owned" by the new label. Jay could fight on the court and he would have won but he still paid the new label 700 million for his own music. If he fought that on court the new label would have sued his previous boss.
That’s not all, his previous boss also is a huge tv host and he hinted multiple times that double J was a thing (J and the girl in this video). So, media and people thought Jay cheated on Jolin over Petty Hou (I assume you already know who she is, Jay wrote multiple songs for her), and it escalated their break up. Jay didn’t care about all the rumors, he went head-to-head with the paparazzies. I’m sure you are aware Jay are were openly dissing the media and paparazzies because he also wrote songs about them (the animal protection song), but the girl couldn’t stand the pressure.
Jay's parents were divorced so he grew up with his mother. He sighed contract with his boss at age 18, wrote multiple hits for him, and saw his boss as his father figure. After the fall out Jay didn't talk much about it and kept saying how he was still thankful to his previous boss, how his previous boss given him a change in music business, how if it wasn't for his boss, then there wouldn't be him. But not inviting his previous boss to his wedding tells you everything. Jay held three weddings, one in England, one in Taiwan, one in Australia, invited almost everybody, but not his previous boss.

When I say everybody I mean including his piano teacher at age 3. so, he invited EVERYBODY.
