Sorry I said a10 or something but meant a2 stock on the ar-15. That’s one caliber and gun I don’t own! Maybe that’ll be my next build! Yes our first bedroom and vault secret door/closet will be next and compete here soon! Can’t wait!
A Ruger Black Hawk with a 7.5 barrel is about the same and I found that just below middle load worked best for accuracy.
7.5? Damn that’s a big gun plus the 6 round capacity. What’s the same though? Cost? Retails $1250. What bullet do you use? Something cheap or like a good hornady?
$350 new in the late 70's and yes 240 gram jacketed hollow points Hornaday's but I ended up selling all my pistols in the mid 80's along with all my reloading equipment as I needed money because of lack of work and kids to feed. I found that little loads shot better. @@neckofthewoods24

I have a Ruger Super Black Hawk with 7.5 inch barrel. Single action sucks, but it’s a beast. I have a Leupold scope on it for long shots. It’s a beast. These large guns are fun , but they do get expensive to shoot. Congrats on your new gun!

@@neckofthewoods24 I have only shot it about 200 to 225 feet. You can do a single shot, wait a minute and do another. It’s way too heavy to do consecutive shots and be accurate. But it’s stupid fun when out with friends taking turns trying to control it!
@@tonybosworth5382 not bad!! I got it pretty good at 75 feet with the irons. That’s more than enough for a defense situation I think.
