I concur. TT2 is a new credit. Regarding it being the best, I don't think that was even Cedar Fair's goal here. Their goal was to get Dragster to a state where it's still popular with the GP but doesn't cost millions of dollars to maintain.
The initial launch looks weak; however, the other two look awesome. I miss the punch of the original TTD. The initial launch should get it to the top of the top hat without going over. If there is room, they should put brakes on either side of the launch to slow the train down before launching again (similar to Maverick's tunnel) to give us three forceful launches. While I am disappointed in the 74 MPH launch, the ride will still be fun but not as good as the original. This is better than no extreme launch coaster. I wish the launches were 100, 110, 120.
@@the_synack I really want to know what the rebuild is costing them but I imagine it could be very expensive and still be worth it considering this ride is an icon.

Sell: Log flumes are still being innovated, such as Intamin now offering a launch. Also water coasters are more an iteration than a replacement of the log flume concept, so I wouldn't consider it a defunct concept even if we stop seeing more traditional style log flumes (which, again with the recent innovations, very much doubt will happen after Tiana's). Also I don't think rapids are trending, they still seem to be added at a slower rate compared to the the 80s and 90s, though they too have seen new innovations, mainly the incorporation of water slide elements, so that could change.

Buy or sell: SFGAM’s Demon and/or American Eagle are removed (or are announced to be removed) before the park’s 50th anniversary in 2026, and a large scale replacement is announced/opened in 2026/2027. Demon only opens when another coaster goes down for maintenance (and was closed for most of 2021 and some of 2022) and American Eagle has only been running one side for many years now. They each take up a lot of space (Demon’s replacement could use the Buccaneer Battle land as well) and a replacement would be the first new coaster since 2019 as well as a heck of a 50th birthday present. Maybe they each are announced to be removed at the end of the 2025 season, allowing for final rides and time to plan the new ride, who knows.
It always annoys me when people say Gemini’s days are numbered because they we’re planning on removing it when Dragster was being built. That was 20 years ago and the plan was modified. It seemed as though the plan for Gemini was “save if we can, remove if we must.”

@@Bakugo-xl4pr and a change in how you are launched. Half the ride experience has been changed, and the length of said experience has been doubled. TT2 is very much a new credit.
After watching TPP’s BTTF coaster concept for Orlando, I wish Universal themed the fast and furious roller coaster to BTTF. Imagine a launch tunnel with some voiceovers then some cool fires effects ass you get launched to 88 mph. I personally hope that the Hollywood drift coaster has the normal trains like velocicoaster because, in all reality, california needs a thrill ride like that. I'm pretty sure Collossus lost a lap when it got RMC'd, this isn't an option with the Out and Back layout of American Eagle (or it would be much more obvious that it got shortened), plus subsequent conversations of dual woodies resulted in single track RMCs.
4:00 I just want to point out, BGW has had rumors of a giga in festhaus park for several years now. Originally it was the drachen spire thing, but now I think they've been saying it might be an RMC or B&M giga. There 50 year anniversary is 2025, they'll probably build something back there that year, and I think that will likely end up being a giga.

I doubt Gröna Lund is removing Jetline. The structure of Jetline isn't just carrying the tracks for this ride, but also supports Vilda Musen, and to complicate things even more, even Twister's track is weaving in and out. They may come up with "new safer trains" (if it even was a design flaw and not simply a part that despite being certified wasn't up to specs). Also, people in Sweden, to my knowledge are more like "okay, now we know what caused one accident in 35 years. We made modifications so that it can't happen again" and won't freak out if the coaster re-opens after proper investigation and lessons learned. And Jetline doesn't just look like a Schwarzkopf. Anton Schwarzkopf (as a person, not his company which at that time was defunct already) was involved in the construction of the coaster, he worked with Zierer back in the day. All coasters that were created during that time are very schwarzkopfesque.
Given the allure that Schwarzkopf coasters still have (and rightfully so) and the interlinkage of Jetline and Vilda Musen, I agree that it seems likely for them to want to keep Jetline around. However, I predict that they will do some drastic visual changes to show their park's visitors that they "have done something" about the ride (disregarding how major or minor the actually issue turns out to be during the investigation). So I expect the coaster to have new trains (perhaps something similar to what Liseberg uses?) and probably a new paintjob and name.
When do you think Montezooma's will re-open at Knott's? Plus they just ripped out their kiddie coaster without notice, any ideas on what would be a good fit for that corner of Camp Snoopy?
Golden lasso isn’t being moved any time soon . This is my home park . It’s currently getting some mods and brand new trains . It will be here for a while . But as for Superman . No one rides it , it’s really rough also . I could see it getting removed and that giant plot of land will get something new.
Just an FYI about SeaWorld Orlando. The plot of land that's across from SeaWorld where their HR building is at, with some warehouses, parking lots, storm water and undeveloped land. That entire parcel between the Double Tree and Renaissance Hotels and sandwiched between Sea Harbor Drive and Westwood Boulevard. Is actually all property of SeaWorld, I recommend using Google Maps to see for yourself to get a better picture. So I don't think they need to purchase new land, since already theirs. So they definitely can develop that land instead. This is according Orange County Property Appraiser. SWO can pull a Universal to build a multi-level parking garage on that plot of land. Build a bridge over Sea Harbor Drive to the existing parking lot, which in turn can be redeveloped into park expansion. Keep the park within the International Drive/Sea Harbor Drive/Central Florida Parkway triangle.
tt2 is 100% a new credit, it's not the same roller coaster, it's a completely new experience This is my logic: Are toy story 1 and 2 the same movie? It's the same franchise and characters, but they are completely different movies and experiences
A lot of people consider X and X2 the same credit--the differences with that are not with the layout but with the trains and added special effects. The differences between TT Dragster and TT2 _do_ involve the layout.

Cedar point will hire zamperla or b&m to retrack Millennium Force when it's due for a retracking
Buy or Sell: Worlds of Fun's next coaster will be a Zamperla Double Heart Launched coaster
Buy or Sell: Herschend acquires either Indiana Beach or Lost Island by 2028.
Buy or sell: if American eagle were RMC’d, it would be somewhat similar to twisted colossus
Buy. They’re already set up to race, why not take advantage of it in the same way that Twisted Colossus (sort of) did?
Sell: You'd be basically building the world's longest coaster, which Six Flags wouldn't be willing to spend.
Last rumor I heard was a ground-up I-Box for their 50th
Buy or sell: outside of B and M the next manufacturer to build a giga will be Mack
Buy or Sell: Cedar Fair will add a coaster to Michigan’s Adventure sometime in the future. (Who knows when that’ll be)
When cga closes they get patriot so yeah
Buy or sell: Zamperla will become what intamin was before their revamp and keep trying to break the limits until there coasters start to become a maintenance headache.
Buy or sell: One of Carowinds’ rides gets the RMC treatment. If it’s not Hurler, then the wild mouse Richochet becomes the first Wild Moose. The cost of repairing Fury’s crack may set this back though.
Buy or sell : We see less Rmc conversions with the popularity of gravity group re tracks
Buy or sell: vekoma becomes one of the biggest manufactures in the us by 2030
Buy or sell kings islands next to coasters are a Mack multi launch theme to the Cincinnati bengals and in rmc son of beast as a bonus I also think an rmc raptor at the front would be likely
3:36 Bush Gardens Tampa is getting a giga before epic universe opens, a long time ride op there told me.
This aged very well
Buy or sell: six flags great escape purchases railblazer after closing alpine bobsled.
So I expect the coaster to have new trains (perhaps something similar to what Liseberg uses?) and probably a new paintjob and name.
buy or sell: the s&s freespins will slowly die off due to the mass productions of them
Buy. They’re nice as a novelty but may have trouble standing the test of time
Buy or sell: Cedar point will do land reclamation to expand
What was Superman’s accident? I know about the one at Darien lake but I’m not sure if the restraints got changed because of that accident.
A rider got ejected I believe ~2004.
Buy or Sell: with the World Cup being in US Mexico and Canada Six flags America will finally get a brand new ground up coaster in 2026
“Buy or sell” Each Disney world/ land parks will all receive coasters on the level of tron and guardians
im stoked to get TTD back with new elements!
When do you think Montezooma's will re-open at Knott's? Plus they just ripped out their kiddie coaster without notice, any ideas on what would be a good fit for that corner of Camp Snoopy?
buy or sell King da ka will get a refurbishment of some kind in the next 10 years
Buy or sell: Dreamworld will get a Turbo Track style shuttle coaster and call it '' Tower of Terror 3''
Golden lasso isn’t being moved any time soon . This is my home park . It’s currently getting some mods and brand new trains . It will be here for a while . But as for Superman . No one rides it , it’s really rough also . I could see it getting removed and that giant plot of land will get something new.
Buy or sell: B&M will build more family coasters
Buy: I think there are more in the pipeline for Merlin properties.
Buy or sell: Project horizon will be a multi dimensional coaster
Buy or Sell: If Top Thrill 2 proves to be a success at Cedar Point Cedar Fair will build similar ground up coasters at other cedar fair parks.
Easy buy. Cedar point is a trend setter, this one will be no exception
tt2 is 100% a new credit, it's not the same roller coaster, it's a completely new experience
This is my logic:
Are toy story 1 and 2 the same movie?
It's the same franchise and characters, but they are completely different movies and experiences
A lot of people consider X and X2 the same credit--the differences with that are not with the layout but with the trains and added special effects. The differences between TT Dragster and TT2 _do_ involve the layout.
Buy or sell: B&M will make a newer stand up coaster train to replace the old ones
Buy or Sell: Assuming TT2 goes well Kings Island or Kings Dominion will get a ground up zamperla launch coaster.
Coaster battle parody idea: flash vs flash vs flash vs flash
I mean, it wont be the best coaster in the world but maybe it could be a top 20 scariest ride. But I think it will be the best swing launched ride.
Since you said Gemini isn't good anymore, would you throw a party if it got removed. The one good thing about Gemini is that it is a dual track. At least one positive you have for that ride!
Buy or sell: with dollywood and holiday world’s new coasters, other family parks may also get a new jr vekoma coaster
Buy or Sell: Good Gravy and Top Thrill 2 announcements become the thoosie equivalent of the Barbenheimer phenomenon and will prompt multiple thoosies to try and ride both in the same day.
Buy or sell:
Silver dollar city or Dollywood gets the first axis coaster by 2025

Buy
Buy or Sell: SFGA’s 50th anniversary coaster will be a new generation Vekoma, for example, Fønix at Fårup Sommerland.

Buy or Sell: ArieForce One is the first battle in a coaster war with Six Flags Over Georgia.
Sell: Can't see Fun Spot reaching SFOG's level.
