how to make LARP thrown weapons, in this video il show you how I make a LARP safe thrown dagger. this process can be used for all LARP thrown weapons. but please check with your LARP system for clarification.

Do it in 2 parts spray one end while resting it on othervend. Then swop when enough layers are on it

Thanks for the tutorial! May I ask why you do a few layers of latex before applying the FlexiPaint primer? It seemed one of the major selling points of FlexiPaint was that it could be used right on the foam to save time - but then again, I'm still new at this hobby :)

hi, mate not at all ask all the questions you want that's why I make these videos to help people. so Flexi paint is a brilliant and robust paint however continued battling and weather will wear it down rather fast. latex will add years to the prop. also makes the prop more robust and adds a better finish to the end product. latex mixed with flex paint leaves an awesome finish and a sturdier prop.

I'd love to see a complicated shape, such as a morning star or mace and if that differs in the foam construction and if so, how.

No process won't change no matter the shape you just need to make sure you get any complicated shapes well glues and latexes evenly especially hard to reach places

How far can it be thrown tho... like it's gonna be pretty light if it's made out of just foam, it's like if you're tried to throw a nerf dart sideways

Yes they are very light. However some systems do allow cored throwing weapons just not all.

The basic tools you need is a heat gun raven a cheap one. A sharp knife and pen and ruler. And some sandpaper the rest is just making your life easier.
