Excellent breakdown. The swing sequence, when done right, is a work of art. Beautiful.

coach brought lance berkman in one day and he had us drilling with wet towels. "Imagine the bat is a whip". proper sequencing for all the momentum to be timed at the end to create the *snap*. He truly showed us what the physics of a good swing meant

sweet mother of god what a nice looking swing haha. can see why you're so obsessed with all these swings. each one is so different yet accomplishes the same thing. incredible!

One quick thought on how he creates so much power...he's 6'2" and 230 lbs.

A load and an unload. A simplified way to describe hitting.
What separates someone who can hit from someone who cannot!?! Is it just a matter of hand-eye coordination? Is it that simple?!?

I’d say hand eye is part of it, but there is a lot that goes into it. Timing, pitch recognition and swing decisions, bat path and quickness, bat speed, etc.

He had the best swing of the derby. I remember talking to my dad during it and saying Robert had no chance. I don't know where Robert gets his power from, but to go from Adley's swing to Robert's swing was night and day. Robert's mechanics look awful.

Yet Robert has better MLB stats if you ask me. More than twice the homers this year than Adley at this point in the season. And about the same batting average.

@@danielhoward4566 oh im aware. He's on my fantasy team lol. I just don't know how the hell he generates so much power with his swing.

@@chriscarnage9467 Good he is on your fantasy team. Maybe Antonelli can do a video on how Robert gets his power with his swing. 🙂
